Greetings fellow Ugandans, fellow Africans and especially, the Bazzukulu.
I am sending out this message to, first of all, thank God for giving Maama and myself our wonderful children: Muhoozi (Muogi), Natasha (Kukuru), Patience (Pusi) and Kyaremeera (Kyinini)., protecting them and prospering them. Secondly, I want to thank Maama for looking after them especially for the years 1981-86 when she was the only parent near them. Thirdly, I salute the children for going through the school systems and branching out successfully in the different fields of life – family, career, etc.
Fourthly, I thank the Ugandans and some of the Africans for standing with and supporting our family and Political movement in the various endeavours we have been undertaking with them.
On this occasion, on the 24th of April 2026, I want to congratulate Gen. Muhoozi (Muogi) on this 52nd birthday. These children, in particular Muhoozi, were born in the resistance, grew up in the resistance, and, in various ways, have made significant contribution to the resistance. Gen. Muhoozi has made significant contribution to fighting corruption in the Army and increasing the lethality of the UPDF.

Today, at the closure of the retreat for the newly elected NRM Members of the 12th Parliament, I hosted them at Ngoma State Lodge. We toured the farm and walked to the bridge between River Mayanja and River Kafu, an area with historical significance linked to our liberation struggle, including the 1984 NRA attack on Masindi Barracks.
I cautioned these young leaders against corruption, especially in Parliament. I also reiterated our long-standing message of moving Ugandans from subsistence living to the money economy, as demonstrated by the transformation of the cattle corridor through dairy farming.

Ntungamo is a very special district. It gifted the nation H.E. @KagutaMuseveni as well as the First Lady, @JanetMuseveni, who also serves as the @NRMOnline district chairperson.
I joined party leaders and colleagues today for the President’s rally at Kyamate playgrounds, where an enthusiastic, chanting, dancing, and jubilant crowd gathered to listen to the son of the soil speak about consolidating the gains and continuing to lead Uganda’s transformation.
Its also a district that has historically voted strongly for the son of the soil. In 2021, the district gave the President 161,655 votes, equivalent to 86.52%.
The enthusiasm and love shown today is an indication that come January 15th 2025, Ntungamo wil overwhelmingly again vote for the president.
Congratulations Mama and your team on the superb mobilization!
