I have to say the skiandsnowboard.live is doing a much better job covering #crosscountryski this year. The new announcer is clearly a skier who knows this world!

Starting my wind down from twitter in phases. You can find me @panmanphil@mastodon.social
Phase 1 - disable all twitter notifications (done)
Phase 2 - uninstall the app
Phase 3 - limit visits to the web site
Phase 4 - we'll see!
I've been in Mastodon since 2019 but have been more active in the last few months. mastodon.social/@panmanphil
I do worry about the work for volunteers running mastodon.social, anybody want to kick the tires sharing the work and costs of hosting an instance?

Word of the day is ‘bloviate’ (19th century): to speechify or sound off on subjects the bloviator probably knows very little about.
I'm happy to be back at That Conference! Working on generating chaos at the moment, kind of the opposite of daily life. Can OpenTelemetry unpack chaos? You'll have to see my talk and decide for yourself.
Proud to be working with a team that gives back to the tech community! Thank you to @jptacek, Hannah Lehman and Phil Nelson from our @BreakthroughNA team, who will be at @ThatConference next week sharing their expertise. Can't wait to learn! #ThatConference #techcommunity

The @packers sent personalized jerseys to our three Wisconsin-rooted Olympians — @BiathleteEgan, @pschommer_ & @deedrablu — so we played a little football in the village today! 🏈🇺🇸
Think they'll let us compete in these jerseys in the Olympics this week?!? #GoPackGo

If you don’t believe that people are capable of growth and evolution, you should not be in management. Point blank. You have to believe in people to create environments for them to do their best work.

Let me say this again. IF KYLE RITTENHOUSE WERE A BLACK 17 YEAR OLD AND HE KILLED TWO PEOPLE SELF DEFENSE WOULD NEVER BE ON THE TABLE. He would be called a THUG. My God, Trayvon Martin was called a thug for wearing a hoodie and holding a bag of skittles.#KyleRittenhouseIsGuilty
