In tonight’s presidential debate the President said the “Portland Sheriff” supports him. As the Multnomah County Sheriff I have never supported Donald Trump and will never support him.

So, Donald Trump is basically just some broke guy, with five kids by three different women, who currently lives in public housing.

FYI it's going be almost impossible for Trump to find a bank willing to refinance that $400 million of debt since his two main sources of revenue — NYC real estate and the hospitality industry — are underwater because of the pandemic he failed to stop.
Ironic.

Thinking about how often I've heard Republicans say they hate illegal immigrants because "they don't pay taxes."

Just because Emperor Palpatine doesn't pay taxes doesn't mean he's not a man of the people who cares about the little guy.

Is this the country we want to live in? That whoever is in power in any given year can simply rewrite the rules that we’ve followed for a few hundred years? Mitch McConnell is destroying our democracy. Right now. Today. He must be defeated.

In 2016, nine months before an election, we Republicans said that the next president should fill a Supreme Court vacancy. Today, six weeks before an election, we should hold the same position. Preserving the institution of the Senate should be paramount to any political gain.
