We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

HOLY SHIT for the first time ever, a human has been injected with a treatment designed to rewrite their DNA directly INSIDE their body using prime editing if it works, it would be the first time prime editing has successfully corrected a genetic mutation directly inside a living human

TPS reminds me of CPU MHz I was like wow 16 on my i386
I remember when 200tps felt impossibly fast. This is going to be crazy.

a good quote for @2035Today
You have to invent the future. It doesn't just happen.

We plugged Google Research’s Harness² into JEV 1.14. Zero weights touched, yet driving massive gains on vision benchmarks round after round. Under the hood, the system: ⚡️ Rewrites its own prompts 🛠️ Builds its own tools 🧠 Distills its own experience JEV-Harness² repo drops soon. Stay tuned.
Google just open-sourced Harness². (turn any harness into a self-improving system) a harness is everything wrapped around the model, like the system prompt, tools, memory, skills, and subagents. today a person designs it once, and the agent runs every new task with that same fixed setup. Harness² lets the agent refine that setup for each new task on its own, with the model weights left untouched. on every task, the agent proposes edits to its harness, runs a few candidate versions, and composes a better harness by comparing how those runs behaved. because it learns from the differences between runs, it needs no correct answer or grader for the task. that covers a single task. Harness² also carries what it learns from one task into the next. after each task, it saves the harness it settled on along with the lessons that held up across the runs. the next time it refines a harness, it starts from those notes instead of from scratch. this means every finished task makes the next round of edits more informed. Google tested this with Gemini 3.5 Flash and GLM-5 on legal, office, and professional work benchmarks. one round of edits was enough to beat their original harnesses, and giving the agent more rounds pushed scores higher. those extra rounds can go wide or deep. the agent either tries several candidate harnesses at once or keeps refining a single one step by step, using OpenCode or Codex to carry out the work. you can find the Harness² repo here: github.com/google-research/h… I wrote about a similar idea for agents already running in production, where the harness should repair itself after a failure instead of waiting for someone to debug the trace by hand. that piece walks through how @Cometml's Opik (open-source) closes this loop, going from a failing trace to a proposed fix to a regression test that stops the same failure from coming back. it's quoted below.

🇷🇺🇫🇮 ANTI-SATELLITE SPACE WARS: Russian military satellite KOSMOS 2612 is now 135 meters (445 feet) from ICEYE-X36 spy satellite that provides tracking data to Ukraine. If it keeps maneuvering the same way, it will close to 45 meters (145 feet) on Monday, tomorrow. -> First aggressive satellite encounter in history! Will the Russian anti-satellite weapon hit the Finnish spy satellite with a laser to burn its camera, use electronic warfare, or just ram it? Space war about to start? PS: You can see how close it is on the video, first time in history a satellite might attack another one.
🇷🇺🇫🇮🇺🇦 SATELLITE WARS IN SPACE -> Russia to take down western spy satellites? Russia launched mysterious military satellites into Space on 16 April 2026 from Plesetsk aboard a Soyuz-2.1b The exact payload is secret, but recent activity points at counter-satellite weapons. -> The mysterious Russian military satellite Kosmos 2612 is nearing the Finnish commercial spy sattelite ICEYE-X36 dangerously. Ukraine is known to use the ICEYE for targeting and Russia was recently hit with deep strikes, that relied on sattelite data. The aggressive approach started in exact this timeframe. ⁉️ The important questions are: - Did Russia deploy anti satellite weapons to space? - Is Putin willing to take down targeting satellites to enforce his red lines? We’ll find out soon enough, it could be that the satellite just closes in as a warning and stays there … but what then? -> Taking down a commercially Finnish satellite in space certainly would be an interesting escalation, especially since it’s not a NATO case because it’s not on nato ground. Keep in mind these maneuvers are fuel intensive and the Russian satellite can’t use so much fuel for nothing! The satellite will run out of fuel and just be bricked without a purpose, if they just play games. So these maneuvers are meant for something! 1/

Claude Opus 5.5 just reverse-engineered my TV... 1 prompt + 5 min = total control: 10x faster UI, ads blocked, any app from GitHub and that's just the beginning here's full guide step by step: step 1 → put your computer and TV on the same Wi-Fi network step 2 → paste the prompt below into Claude Code with a photo of your TV step 3 → unlock the hidden Developer menu with your remote - Claude tells you what to press step 4 → hit "allow" on the TV - it's last time you touch the remote step 5 → say yes to the cleanup: no ad rows, no bloat, 2x faster UI - all reversible step 6 → install any open-source app straight from GitHub - no Play Store the result: now anything you can think of, your TV can do... p.s: works on almost any TV. Mine in the video is from 2017 Try it now, you're welcome. Then read article below on how to reverse-engineer anything:
REA is most dangerous thing on the internet right now... It lets your AI agent reverse engineer any app, down to the binary If you use it correctly, you can rebuild any feature you pay for, for FREE In this article, I show you how:

Totally, I mean maybe Ai will find a beautiful simple formula, but indeed nothing seems to show nature is simple... I don't get physicist who seems to think physics has to be understood by human in nature ... romanticism isn't science
If we want to continue progress in science, we must be prepared to acknowledge that the correct description of nature will eventually simply be too complicated for humans to understand. I do not think it is wise to make human understanding a requirement. AI is the way forward.

I remember when we did Startup Weekend, some VCs would call it crappy deal flow, that's why most don't get startup communities, you won't have a great startup community if all you do is monitoring for amazing profiles and traction that anyone would invest in. What matters is to support all founders and make them into great founders and invest in those where Venture Capital is the right tool not an end goal. Most VCs should change their job into SCs (Safe Capitalists) Ai and agentic venture capital along with agentic lead communities are exciting @2035Today is growing fast, got 10+ organizers already applying! cc @adeoressi driving the next gen since 2005+ :D

The world is changing so fast, we need a community getting ready for it! What's your vision for 2035? thanks to @PyratzCorp for joining @2035Today Paris!
What does 2035 look like in an era shaped by AI, and how should we invest today with that future in mind? ☕ Back in June, we had the pleasure of co-organizing the first edition of Café2035 Paris with @peignoir. Last week, we were happy to return for the second edition, with @bilalelalamy sharing his vision of 2035, the changes AI could bring, and how that outlook shapes our investment thesis at @pyratzcorp. 🙏 A big thank you to @peignoir and @jmpailhon for the invitation and for bringing these conversations to life. If you missed the in-person event last week, here's the replay of Bilal's talk 👇

The strawberry hype is back, it’s a 20% of hype to reality ratio but I want to believe
i’ve just seen a demo that is going to change the entire ai landscape it’ll drop this year and don’t ask me. nda. this also is not investment advice but this will be a seismic shift.

Spent years watching models ace a single image and completely whiff on anything that moves or changes angle. Today we’re fixing that. Try Glimpse now, our first visual thinking model with competitive frontier performance compared to Astra on key public visual reasoning benchmarks.
