Bless you Craig, Sorry didn't make it to the pub, I was arrested under the Terrorism Act for...... Pausing. (allegedly) teapawt.org/newscord_org/status/21โ€ฆ
Outside the Supreme Court, where the Palestine Action appeal hearing closed for the day, a man was arrested for saying, "In the UK, it's a crime to say, I support Palestine Action". Police reportedly said it was due to the length of the pause between "crime to say" and "I support.."

Britain now has a speech kill switch, and as of Monday itโ€™s armed. Large platforms must keep a crisis censorship plan they donโ€™t have to publish, ready to fire the moment speech regulator Ofcomโ€™s definition of a crisis is merely โ€œlikely.โ€ That definition covers local events, regional events, and even events overseas. The content in scope includes โ€œforeign interference,โ€ which can apply to information that is entirely true if itโ€™s presented the wrong way. Ofcom admits political speech will get caught and calls the extra false positives โ€œproportionate.โ€ Police get a dedicated line to the platforms, and they donโ€™t need a court order to use it. The reviews afterwards happen in private too... reclaimthenet.org/britains-oโ€ฆ

Julia struggling again with the concept that when money is paid by one person to another, it then belongs to the payee. I wonder if, before she pays for her morning cup of coffee, she demands to know what they're going to spend it on, just to make sure it's nothing woke?
The end of #CelebrityTraitors was the most BBC thing EVER. Because of COURSE the two winners are donating their winnings - our licence fee money - to a charity for refugees and a charity for "queer" refugees.

Labour stand in total disgrace today. Ed Milibandโ€™s fake apology can go in the bins that probably will now go uncollected. Collapsing local partnerships to play politics and making support for Israel โ€˜a red lineโ€™, a red line we didnโ€™t impose on our councillors for Labour literally arming a genocide.

Margaret Owen is currently locked-on outside RAF Lakenheath in opposition to UK complicity in Israelโ€™s genocide. A formidable Jewish 94 year old human rights barrister is doing more to prevent genocide than the people elected to represent us.
Lakenheath still blocked. 94-year-old human rights lawyer, Margaret Owen, says: "At the age of 94 this is a wonderful opportunity for me to take part in a lock on, which I'd never heard of before, and to stand against the war machines that are destroying millions of lives."

I shall be travelling to London for the UK Supreme Court hearing on Palestine Action on 4 and 5 November, to support my friend and colleague Huda Ammori. Is this a criminal offence, @metpoliceuk ? Will people be arrested for going to the Supreme Court?

BREAKING: The Met Police has extended the definition of "terrorism" to include anyone who is nice to pensioners who express opinions that Andy Burnham doesn't like ๐Ÿ‘€
Anyone planning to attend a demonstration in support of Palestine Action in the vicinity of the US Embassy on Saturday, 31 October will face arrest as part of a robust policing operation. Expressing support for the group is an offence under the Terrorism Act following its proscription in June 2025, a decision upheld by the Court of Appeal in June 2026. Extraordinary overreach. What are they thinking? They're going to arrest the people driving pensioners and priests to a protest where they intend to hold up a sign? People who give them water? People acting as legal observers?
NEW: the Met issues update threatening โ€œenforcement actionโ€ against anyone who provides โ€œlogistical supportโ€ (water?? snacks?? a foil blanket?) to peaceful protesters at the @defendourjuries demo outside the US embassy tomorrow news.met.police.uk/news/met-โ€ฆ

What about someone who sells someone a bottle of water which that person then gives to someone supporting Palestine Action? Is supporting a supporter of a supporter going to be arrestable? How far will the police go in their quest to make themselves objects of public ridicule?
If the Met Police are now going to arrest people who show support for people who show support for Palestine Action, does that mean theyโ€™ll be arresting the peace choir? The proscription of Palestine Action has made this country look utterly ridiculous.
