the best take i’ve seen by far regarding the strategic reserve is that this is just classic trump negotiation tactic
for a true reserve to happen trump will have to convince congress, he can’t decide on his own
whenever trump needs to convince others stakeholders he always starts with an absurd proposition that he can walk back from later: “trump gaza”, canada annexation, and now “strategic cardano reserve”
so in trump chess language this just means he’s telling congress if you don’t give me a bitcoin reserve i’m gonna ram ripple down your throats
is this really what’s going on? i have no idea, but it’s a compelling theory. but tbh whatever direction this goes i’m gonna be happy. so much entertainment
p.s. if you do believe altcoins will end up in a strategic reserve imo the best way to express that view in the market is to buy as much doge as humanly possible. there’s zero chance ADA will be in a national reserve and doge will not
