“In April 14, 2010, I showed up at the clubhouse with a Bible sitting on my chair in my locker. Changed my life. It’s the Bible I read out of today.”

Congrats to our all-time RBI leader Chandler Redmond on being named the Texas League's All-Star First Baseman!
The slugger led all of Double-A with 31 bombs this year, becoming just the 2nd #SGFCards player in team history to hit 30+ homers in a single season. He also finished 3rd in the league with 92 RBIs, and broke our all-time RBI record (now 196) with a go-ahead 3R HR in the 2nd Half Title clinching win on 9/17.

As coaches, our entire job is to understand our players.
We sometimes get so caught up in helping the performer that we lose sight of the person.
To truly understand your players, you have to understand the person too.

A team with a lot of LOVE doesn’t need a lot of RULES.
Remember, the numbers don’t drive the people. The people drive the numbers. Love your team. They matter.
