Poland is a case study in why an EU wide army is a terrible idea. The Polish Army remaining loyal to Poland was the key.
Imagine if the army reported to an EU commander rather than the President of Poland.
"Billionaires shouldn't be taxed on stock gains they haven't sold, because it isn't real money until they cash out."
Fine.
Then explain why my county reassessed my home this year and sent me a bigger bill.
I didn't sell it.
I didn't refinance.
I haven't seen a single dollar of that "extra value."
But I'm still handing over more every year because my house is worth more on paper.
Funny how paper gains are "not real" for a billionaire's portfolio, but completely real the moment they show up on a homeowner's tax statement.
Just saw this on Reddit

The smart money is GTFOing the stock market right now… 🫧💥
🚨 Hedge funds are pulling money out of the stock market at the fastest pace ever recorded.
Morgan Stanley's prime brokerage data shows they have cut their total stock positions by more than 8% from the recent peak.
That's the biggest cut since the data began in 2016. It's bigger than the 2020 COVID crash and the 2021 GameStop squeeze.
Most of it has hit AI stocks:
• Goldman Sachs says hedge funds sold AI stocks for 5 straight days, from Oct 8 to Oct 14.
That wiped out all the AI buying they had done since the start of 2025.
• They sold the stocks they owned about 3.5x faster than they added new bets against them, so most of this is funds leaving the trade, not shorting it.
• Morgan Stanley's AI stock basket fell 18% in October, while the average US stock rose about 2%.
• Memory stocks like Samsung, SK Hynix, Micron and SanDisk lost more than $700 billion in seven trading days. SK Hynix had its worst week since 2008.
Is this the first sign the AI trade is breaking?

No study needed. Before Google, there was Yahoo. Yahoo signed a deal to power its search engine using a tiny startup at the time, called Google. Google's tech was far better and people just started going right to Google. By the time Yahoo realized they had dug their own grave, it was too late. Google completely enveloped the search market, and Yahoo sank into the pit of irrelevance. Completely decimated.
1980. IBM. They outsourced their operating system to Bill Gates. Oops.
Toys R Us. That was the store! Toys R Us paid Amazon millions of dollars a year and redirected all their online shoppers to Amazon's platform. Amazon was supposed to make Toys R Us the exclusive toy seller on the site. Amazon used all of the people buying toys to learn the inventory data and slowly allowed other third party toy sellers onto the platform. Toys r US sued but it didn't matter. They filed bankruptcy in 2017.
"We give to our enemies the means of our own destruction."

Never outsource your core competency.
No study needed. It took, and then it taketh away.
AI trained on Reddit, land of sarcasm, inaccuracies, online mob behavior, and a long list of other unsavory things.
The collapse of Reddit will be studied.
After reporting earnings, its stock collapsed 30% in a single day.
It's down 44% in 2 weeks.
But the most important detail is what was revealed in that earnings call.
The CEO said AI is killing Google search.
People no longer get sent to Reddit from Google. They merely get their answers from the AI Mode itself.
Even Google confirmed this themselves with their disastrous results - AI mode is cannibalising their search business.
Pretty soon, no one will visit Reddit voluntarily. Its traffic will continue to crater.
The worst part?
Reddit isn't alone. There are millions of companies and publishers that rely on search traffic.
That's what happens when you rely on a single funnel for discovery.

They also want 🇵🇱 Poland's gold, because they're the only European country who hoarding gold anticipating the European sovereign debt crisis.
They don't want any European nation to survive what's coming because they want a European fiscal union to match its monetary union.

🇵🇱 Extremely urgent: REVOLT WITHIN THE POLISH POLICE.
Polish police officers are beginning to defy orders from the Tusk government en masse. There are reports of a revolt and extremely low morale.
A police union is accusing the government of using the police for political purposes and is opposing the actions of those in power.
Tusk is in serious trouble.

Polská armáda včera chránila prezidenta proti pokusu vlády ho izolovat! Neuvěřitelná informace z Polska o plánu polské proněmecké a probruselské vlády Tuska, která měla plánovat izolování polského prezidenta, aby mu zabránili přijet do Varšavy!

Europe lectures the world on democracy.
Voters must choose correctly. Journalists must follow the approved line.
"European values." Establishment rules.
Allons-y quoi !

🇵🇱 Nawrocki's team inside Poland's Constitutional Court at 2 AM
President's spokesman Rafał Leśkiewicz has posted this photo from inside the court building. From left:
🔸️Zbigniew Kapiński, Supreme Court First President
🔸️Karol Nawrocki, President
🔸️Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the President's Office
🔸️Sławomir Cenckiewicz, head of the National Security Bureau
🔸️Bartłomiej Sochański, Vice-President of the Constitutional Court
Sochański is one of the two officials Tusk's judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska "suspended" earlier tonight, and police kept him locked out at the gate for hours.
🇵🇱 BREAKING: President Nawrocki pushes his way into the Constitutional Tribunal in the middle of the night
After an emergency meeting at the Presidential Palace, President Karol Nawrocki and Supreme Court First President Zbigniew Kapiński drove to the Tribunal shortly after midnight, where protesters greeted him chanting "Karol! Karol!"
According to Radio Maryja, police pushed back officers of Nawrocki's own State Protection Service before he made it through. Paweł Szefernaker, head of the President's Office, confirmed that Nawrocki and Kapiński entered the building.
The other side tells a different story. Maciej Berek, one of the Tusk-majority judges and a longtime close aide of Tusk, claimed the president never made it inside and accused him of "physically attacking" Anna Korwin-Piotrowska and the other judges.
