Still looking to collect autographed bookmarks for my MIL's birthday!
Author mutuals, I'm happy to cover costs involved. She loves fantasy and sci-fi, this would make her day!

I can really only post this here because I'm pretty sure she follows me on all my other media:
My mother in law asked for bookmarks for her 60th birthday. I'm going to make her a few, but if any of my author friends are willing to sign and mail me one of their bookmarks (1)

JK Rowling demands specific examples of her bigotry, gets one of the most brutal threads I've ever read on her, and goes immediately into silent mode.
KaiserNeko isn't even UK based so she can't bully him with lawyers.
She does this a lot. Demanding evidence and then vanishing.

Hey friends- I was offered a brand collab opportunity and double checked with the brand's customer service that my email offer was legit and it is!
But they do payment through PayPal and that feels sketchy
Has anyone who's done a collab had this experience?
They retracted it, but I'm still cautious and unhappy they even thought it was a good idea to begin with.
Update on our Open Subs window & the involvement of Storywise:
We have been watching & listening to the concerns. Our community matters to us above all, & for this open subs period, we will be using our old inbox. For submissions, please email [email protected].
And this alone dropped @angryrobotbooks from one of my favorite publishers down to bottom tier.
AI should never be used in publishing, especially ISRAELI OWNED AI. Are we not still in the middle of a genocide? What the hell.

Seven ways to look at some bullshit:
(1) first, Storywise is an Israeli startup. You—Angry Robot, any other publisher that gives a shit about human life—should be boycotting them, not give them gatekeeping rights.

My mother in law just finished Legends & Lattes and asked if there were more books by the same author
I fully expect her to start buying fan merch soon because when she likes something she goes hard 😂

in case we weren’t all fucking aware, israel isn’t following the ceasefire. like AT ALL. like not a single change of course. like as if the UN never passed it in the first place. so if that doesn’t tell you how fucking dire this situation is, how power high this institution is…
I've been on here so little that I didn't update I found a dream job ✌️ Working for a nonprofit and loving every second. It's by far the best job I've ever had in every way-environment, pay, benefits, everything.
It's wonderful.
