That’s not what Craig said. The current version of the movie WB is developing isn’t mentioned in the interview that this post cited.

its about something from like 2022 lol this is old news.
No. This is factually incorrect. He talks about the 2022 Warner Bros/Hanna-Barbera deal. He isn't talking about the 2026 announcement, he literally says "Years ago". Someone needs to community note this, it's outright misinformation.

I explain a bit more about where this false narrative came from - a AI generated post on comicbooks.com that incorrectly summarized the podcast. ToonHive picked it up and assumed it as fact without listening to the podcast episode first.

I've traced this claim back to a completely AI generated post on comicbooks.com - it's 100% AI and includes hallucinations and misinterpretations of a real podcast episode from 3 weeks ago. Craig refers to "years ago" in the episode. 2022, when that fiasco happened.

ToonHive got the bad information from here:

As I said in my last tweet, the linked real podcast episode does NOT include Craig talking about recent news.
Can some cool people in the PPG space on X repost this please? It makes me incredibly upset seeing this false narrative blasted to so many people.

Sorry to @ so many people but ending this rumor early before it can cause damage could really help the franchise. don't want people to not watch the movie!

Really felt like drawing the Shamed Decadence AU by @KaylaTechHeart 🌸
I was trying to go a 2000's render and aesthetic for this one! Kinda looks like a retro album cover! 👀
