Imagine buying a $1 million home. Your mortgage lender sends the funds to a lawyer to complete the transaction and pay off the seller's existing mortgage.
Except the mortgage never gets paid off. The money disappears.
According to an Ontario judge, this happened across 25 real estate transactions involving more than $18 MILLION in mortgage funds.
Not a single mortgage was properly discharged using those funds.
Now THREE GTA law firms have been placed into receivership amid allegations of mishandling client money.
The judge warns this could be just the "tip of an iceberg."

Not a temporary visa you can send home.

Permanent residency means sponsorship: spouse, kids, parents, grandparents to follow.
One approval becomes a household.
No requirement to offer the job to a Canadian first.
And "high-wage" is a trick.
It means the job category averages about $40/hr, roughly $84,000 a year.
