From his reaction & that the temple seems to have been neglected the sound is like they had entirely forgotten the law. That’s not evidence that the law failed—but that God himself persists His law in spite of men failing.

The point wasn’t a problem coming from Pharisees but that many strains from one group in some sense aren’t more than one witness.

The texts from the actual era of the apostles or just after they supposedly come from, and those texts agree with their enemies and not themselves— are you find archaeologically Roman scrolls that reveal where their beliefs came from and they’re not even from the church:.

I like the Portuguese example we see the same thing across Christianity, where groups that all, really from the same bunch and so really our one witness will tell you how it’s always been this way and they all are in agreement against one or two others and then you uncover…

Or like we can have many traditions that are all in agreement about this side and then you start digging up ancient testimonies about who the statuses were and you realize the later traditions are just slander, but there’s multiple so they must be witnesses, right?

One of the problems I had with Judaism was that many many rabbi‘s will tell you that just about all modern Judaism comes from the Pharisees and they don’t even stop & ponder what this means

Or if you have agreement across Christian denominations through a large period of history, and then the Portuguese show up in India and find that in fact Christians kept the biblical Sabbath… are the three in agreement the witnesses who come from the same tradition or just one?

So well, they may not agree with Christian conclusions. It remains very useful to testify to the state of affairs on things ironically since many, supposedly historic apostolic traditions in Christianity, don’t even know about the background to those texts.

Or in Israel, an odd reality that isn’t spoken up much is the New Testament gets used for archaeological purposes because it’s actually one of the oldest Jewish tech in existence. Even older than most current manuscripts of the Hebrew Bible.

Right, so you have to then understand different forms of witness. Like what’s the text of the Torah? Text critics will look at not only Hebrew manuscripts, but ancient translations and especially evidence of texts on archaeological artifacts.

Even now Ra’s like David Bar-Hayim get themselves in a lot of trouble by pointing out that there are many traditions all called Judaism, but they are compatible.

There’s a bit of a problem with that view once you consider that Israel once totally forgot God & his law until the reign of Josiah and later much of it along even with Hebrew during the captivity in Babylon.

You could explain it as being like lifting weights before your neurons

For some reason, it seems that when dyslexics learn a second alphabet that is hard in these ways, it helps them with their dyslexia and reading. Probably because it forces the brain to pay better attention to distinguish which writing system it is looking at.
1
I think the way to put it is it must seem to your brain like a completely different writing system and be hard to interpret and write with a pen compared to the one you know.

You don’t even need to learn the other language you can just learn to use the other alphabet so long as it is somewhat different enough.

For dyslexia learning a different alphabet or writing system that’s very alien can really help. Like Greek, Hebrew, Cyrillic, etc. if you use English (even if you are only using the distinct letters for your own language).

The hirelings also cannot threaten social standing in modern progressivism by articulating sex specific duties & sins. Too unegalitarian & women are their free labor & community organizers.
Listen to enough sermons and you'd think only men ever sin. Either women don't, or the church just won't look.

Or, exposition, application, etc.

Is defining what has become lost to the newer generation an addition?—no. The courts and sages were expounding what was originally understood for newer generations that lacked context.—or trying to. Either case you give here is really about exposition, ideally.
