The reformers taught three uses of the law, the evangelical church abridged the doctrine to only one. Hence civilization is degenerating and sanctification has been retarded. Christian ethics have been abrogated in whole for therapy and feelz and now clicks.

I call those who affirm the OT in words, but deny it in practice, "Marcionlites"

Antinomianism is a HUGE problem in the church today, incredibly widespread.
Yet, anyone pointing to plain truth in scripture gets spray painted with the label “legalist.”
1 Cor 6:9-10? Legalist!
Fruits of the flesh Galatians 5? Legalist!
Rev 21:8? Legalist!
The plainest passages about character and consequences? Legalist!

Because no one will listen to us.
I’ve been a Christian for 30 years and almost no one actually cares about the Bible and even when they do it’s only the parts they like

There really are people out there making the case that cohabitation IS marriage.
Replying to @S1AL
Cohabitation with the intent to marry is to marriage what test driving a car with the intent to buy is to vehicle ownership.

My favorite part is that she is now starting a new, woman owned porn platform lol
Because it's not the having degrading sex on film she's upset about, only what her cut of the cash was

The most annoying part about this is the insinuation that the objectification of women in porn and hardcore sexual acts are male driven phenomenons

They are literally telling us that if Democrats are winning they will call the races early, but if Republicans are winning they won't call the races until tomorrow or later.
That is literally what they are saying, without any exaggeration.
They are telling this to us straight up, to our faces.
Democrats are heavily favored in public polling in the House and in several key Senate races. If those numbers prove accurate, it’s possible that NBC News could project control of both chambers on election night. But it’s more likely that determining the winners will take time. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…

In Genesis 3, two people are offered food, and their eyes are opened (καὶ διηνοίχθησαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ τῶν δύο - Gen. 3:7 LXX).
The world groans under the weight of sin.
In Luke 24, two people are offered food, and their eyes are opened. (δύο ἐξ αὐτῶν.....αὐτῶν δὲ διηνοίχθησαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ⸃ - Luke 24:13, 31)
Their hearts burn at the revelation of the Savior.

Often neglected reality: medieval Roman Catholic worship was far more "individualistic" than the Protestant liturgies that reformed it.
The medieval mass, being indecipherable to the common person, was conceived of as an opportunity for private devotions on the part of the laypeople while the "hocus pocus" was performed on the altar.
Then, when the miracle of transubstantiation was accomplished, very few people communed. When they did commune, they were denied communion in both kinds.
When Thomas Cranmer had the audacity to bring the services into the language of the English people, many people were angry with him.
They did not want to participate in a form of corporate worship that interfered with their private devotions.
Alan Jacobs quotes John Cristopherson, the dean of Norwich as saying,
"It is much better for them not to understand the common service of the church, because when they hear others praying in a loud voice, in the language that they understand, they are [hindered] from prayer themselves..." (Jacobs, Book of Common Prayer: A Biography, 19)
The Reformation was not a plunge from a highly corporate, unified form of worship into reckless individualism.
On the contrary, the corporate action of the priesthood of believers was restored as the chief vehicle of Christian worship.

>Walking around Blarney Castle
>An elderly Irish man comes up to talk about the history
>We have a friendly conversation for a few minutes
>He somehow gets off topic and begins talking about Donald Trump
>My Dad interjects and mentions I voted for him (thanks Dad, just what I wanted, a political debate with a random foreigner while on vacation)
>Irish Boomer goes into full meltdown mode
>“You know he’s a rapist right? How could you vote for him?”
These people are literal cattle. Every interaction I’ve had with retirement-aged Irish people has somehow resulted in them offering me their unsolicited political opinions about my country, and every single time it’s a level of shitlibery that rivals even the most ideologically indoctrinated resist lib Americans.
You can just tell these people watch TV all day long and wait for someone else to tell them what to believe, at which point they accept it without question.

No.
There is no freeze button. It is a standard for allowing token issuers to create tokens that are programmable. The issuer defines the program. The standard itself doesn't have any concept of "freezing", it simply allows tokens to have custom defined behavior. This could be automated vesting, auto-rebalancing collateral assets, etc.
This is not regulatory pandering, it is freedom, the freedom for individuals, teams, and anyone to design and release tokens that behave in whatever ways their imagination can conceive, and more importantly, in any way that suits their use-case.
Cardano just introduced something crypto purists might hate... a freeze button.
CIP-0113 lets issuers freeze, seize and restrict regulated tokens. Switzerland's CMTA has already recognized its tokenized-share implementation.
$ADA is building what Wall Street wants. The question is whether crypto holders want it too.

Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.
