Why is @RickeySmiley lying on my dads name and legacy. Someone let him know I want to talk to him privately❗️

Replying to @progressiveact
I wrote a book about my dad @JimBrownNFL32 called The Legendary Mindset speaking on my dad’s time at the White House with @POTUS and what he thought about @realDonaldTrump. So for @RickeySmiley to bluntly lie is appalling💉 It’s disgusting❗️‼️

Let me be clear! My NUMBER ONE reason for going to the White House was to address HBCUs directly with President Trump!

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s administration is facing scrutiny after the state Department of Health expanded a Deloitte Consulting Medicaid contract from $177 million to roughly $1.1 billion without competitively rebidding the work. The $866 million amendment, signed in August, is more than four times the value of the original contract. The contract had already grown to $317 million before the latest increase, with just over $200 million spent, according to state comptroller records. Watchdogs have questioned why such a massive expansion was handled through an amendment rather than opened to competitive bidding, particularly as the project has grown far beyond its original scope. The Hochul administration says the amendment followed state law and is necessary to replace an outdated Medicaid application system. Officials also argue the new platform will help reduce waste and fraud while saving taxpayers money, with the federal government covering 90% of design and implementation costs and 75% of ongoing operations. The contract is also drawing attention because Deloitte previously built New York’s COVID-era Excelsior Pass, which cost more than $60 million, while a former state budget director recently settled an ethics case involving contact with a Deloitte lobbyist. With the Medicaid contract now approaching $1.1 billion, New Yorkers are left questioning whether the state is getting the best value for taxpayers when billion-dollar contracts can expand without a competitive bidding process. nypost.com/2026/09/27/us-new…

I dont think I can ever support Sliwa again. To be nice about it, this is disappointing. In July of 2021 I spoke to @CurtisSliwa's then campaign manager to negotiate him coming to speak at our rally planned in August of 2021 in front of City Hall against @BilldeBlasio and the teacher vaccinr mandate. Sliwa's campaign manager declined to have him speak because he said we had "too many anti-vaxxers" on the line up. When I asked him to name one he felt was "anti-vaxx" he said "Jamel Holley" @jamelholley is a hero who saved New Jersey's religious exemption to vaccination in 2019. Holley was a deeply respected Black Democrat who simply supported a parental and religious rights. To me this was an offensive statement from Sliwa's campaign, even privately. But I never said anything about it. At that rally Sliwa refused to come to in August of 2021 we had 3000 people show up. It was a historic moment Then in October of 2021 @bravest4choice marched over the Brooklyn Bridge with 20,000+ people. This was the first time Sliwa came out in support of unvaccinated workers. Then in 2025 during his last run for mayor he said he supported us. But now his vaccine stunts and Mamdani hand-holding feels like an intentional thumb poked in our eye. It feels like he never really supported us, it was all just politics for him. It feels like he is trying to wash his hands of us; distance himself from us. It feels like Sliwa was, and still is, the man who felt he couldn't share the microphone with Jamel Holley. Huge disappointment @maryhollandnyc @JoannAriola32 @VickieforNYC @JohnDMacari @cops4freedom @AutismActionNet @RobertKennedyJr @naomirwolf

Stephen A Smith was applauded for doing political commentary, as long as he only criticized Republicans. It's time for a little more balance in our community.

They gave you a job. They kept the equity. Amazon employees: $50K-$80K/year. Jeff Bezos: $70B in Amazon stock. Same company. Different relationship to ownership. The employee builds the empire. The owner collects the compounding. Stop being the builder. Become the owner.

Stephen Smith Apologize to Kyrie Irving Over COVID Shot Refusal Back in 2022 I had the honor and privilege of meeting the bravest athlete on the planet during COVID - Kyrie Irving (pictured above). My friend Tramell Thompson @progressiveact had held a rally in front of the Barclays Center on March 19, 2022, demanding Kyrie be brought back to the court. Watch news coverage of that rally in below comments. Not long after this, Kyrie stated his full support for unvaccinated NYC workers and for Tramell Thompson specifically as reported by the Daily News. Back at that time prominent sportscaster Stephen A. Smith called Kyrie Irving’s decision to not get vaccinated “selfish,” but today, shortly after Anthony Fauci’s pitiful appearance before Senator Rand Paul’s Homeland Security Committee, Smith is apologizing to Kyrie.
