Up front: Any 2 words connected by a v or n means I missed the space bar $ often shows up as R 7 = & I can never hit O so it’s always an I, if = of And the damn ‘ sign always becomes ; so dude’s =dude;s etc. I’m half blind with bad thumbs & don’t proofread like I should. Just got this text: My name, this sounds unbelievable but there are furries voting in our elections. This picture was taken at a Collin County polling location earlier this week. Furries, which are men and women who identify as animals, and other weirdos are turning out in record numbers. They are a big reason why Democrats hold an 86,000 vote lead on Republicans statewide! Don’t let weirdo furry Socialists pick our leaders! Go vote for every Republican on your ballot today to keep common sense conservatives in control of Texas. Voting locations here: votetexas.gov/voting/where.h… Pol. Ad. Texans for Common Sense PAC STOP=END Insert pic of a dude with a fox tail hangout of his pants My response: Holy shit! Well I'm gonna put on my ears & tail & go vote. I didn't even know I could do that!

Gotta wonder what the return on that is gonna be. He didn’t become the inky trillionaire by making bad business decisions
NEW — A filing cited by Politico shows Elon Musk put another $76 million into efforts to boost Republicans, bringing his total spending this cycle to $442 million.

Here’s a chart made by Grok that shows the big donor pac money funding Greg Abbott, whereas most of Gina Hinojosa’s funds are coming from small grassroots donors. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know who Abbott would be beholden to. #VoteHinojosa in Texas!

Well, would you look at that. Greg Abbott is lying to Texas. He claims he’s hit pause on all data center development. Turns out his admin is still approving permits. “…the approval process has since moved forward for dozens of data center projects.” sacurrent.com/news/texas-new…

Notice that reliable R primary voters are the only ones getting these? Maybe ask who wants you angry? What do they have to gain?

For decades, I have been a conservative Republican. I believe in limited government, local control, parental rights, fiscal responsibility, religious liberty, and protecting our children from government overreach. Those principles have not changed. But the Republican Party in Texas has. After years of researching legislation, following the money, testifying before the Texas Legislature, and watching what has happened under Governor Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, and Attorney General Ken Paxton, I believe conservative Texans need to confront an uncomfortable truth. The Republican establishment has become deeply dependent on billionaire donors, political action committees, powerful foundations, corporate interests, and unelected organizations that help shape public policy. Meanwhile, ordinary Republicans are expected to remain loyal, ask no questions, and vote RED. And when the leadership cannot defend its record, too often the political conversation turns to fear. The latest controversy involving deceptive political mailers and text messages is a perfect example of why Texans should question what they are being told. alicelinahan.substack.com/p/…

Bama, tOSU etc used to have 3 strings of 5*’s Now those 2nd & 3rd stringers are all starting at “lesser” schools for more $ than the bigs were paying them illegally Back ups are transferring every yr so there’s no continuity, no development Everyone is starting fresh every year - like a HS team
NEW: Urban Meyer admits he "misfired" about the impact of NIL and the transfer portal on College Football: "I thought the rich would get richer. What it’s done is make parity in college football. I’ve talked to many of my colleagues in the last couple weeks. You flip on UCLA and then you flip on Alabama, what’s the difference? I don’t know. One team runs the ball a little better, and that’s UCLA. It’s amazing what has really happened to the game of college football with the NIL and with the transfer portal." Just went to vote. Circled the tiny parking lot for 25 min & couldn’t get a spot. Longer line out the door than I’ve ever seen. Left. Will try again in a few days. Harris county eliminated the polling place closer to my house with plenty of parking & no wait, despite thousands of new houses going up in the area.

Governor, can we get a debate with Gina? Nope, I’ve got an interview with sneaker guy & TEMU Nick Lachey that day
NEWS from Gov Abbott interview on data centers: - he commits to turning his exec orders into law next session, refuting critics who say they’re an election stunt. -he supports giving *counties* city-like power to regulate data centers. Rural counties want zoning power.

It’s not just mom’s & teachers. Even former GOP state office holders are disgusted with the TX GOP in its current form
GOP former Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson, who held his nose and voted for Sen. Cruz in '18: "If we keep voting for crappy nominees we will continue to get crappy nominees. I’m still Republican. My party’s not...I’m not voting for Paxton or Talarico."
