What drew co-director @sonyaballantyne to #DeathTourDoc? Growing up in Northern Manitoba, she's always had an intense love of the sport, and she felt a connection to the remote Indigenous communities that share her life-long love for these improv athletes.

please read this document. a lot of people put time and energy into it because of the shared belief that the animation industry should not be a place that endorses or fosters such behavior.

Fun fact: The original title for this comic was "Shifting Gears," but as we finalized the script, Brandon suggested changing it to "Enmiaq" -- the Mi'gmaq word for "going home"
In this autobio story, a sudden layoff sees Brandon and his family forced to leave their planned life in Ottawa. When the money runs out, where do you go?
Find "Enmiaq" from Brandon Mitchell and @raysdrawlings in THE CITY WE CHOSE, on Kickstarter now!

As an Ottawa dweller with east coast ties, I found so many things to relate to in Brandon's story, and @raysdrawlings has done an awesome job capturing everything!

We're proud to announce the Kickstarter for our eleventh anthology, The City We Chose!
It's 180+ pages of gorgeous about the cities that shape us, the paths that brought us there, and the whimsical fantasy cities that might have been.

This is an “older” anime now but I think everyone should watch the story of a young gay couple and a non-binary child with 30 dogs work together to take down a dystopian bee government at least once in their lifetime

This total lack of self awareness is only possible when you don't see the "other side" as human.

critical aid will no longer be delivered to gaza because israel is INTENTIONALLY EXECUTING AID WORKERS SO THAT PALESTINIANS WILL STARVE
Our team has determined that at this point the risk of actively delivering aid in Gaza is far too great. This decision was not made lightly. Please visit our website for FAQ’s: anera.org/faq-emergency-resp…

This is unreal. Theres 1.3M Palestinians packed in Rafah because they were told it was a “safe zone” but we can clearly see it was a guise to lure them into a densely populated area to kill as many as possible. I can’t believe we are witnessing a holocaust of this magnitude
BREAKING: Israel is now bombing a million civilians trapped in Rafah, the last place of refuge in Gaza.
This is the most violent and unprecedented bombardment of Rafah to date.
We’re witnessing a holocaust. Plain and simple.

Israel has already broken the ceasefire agreement by shooting at Palestinians trying to return to their homes. Just like they did during the Nakba in 1948.
In case anyone needs a reminder: preventing these people from returning to their homes is a war crime.
