Well, this was an eventful day of early voting! Brought my parents to the elections office, got them registered to vote, and they voted! And like I always do, I’m posting my ballot so you can see how I voted. The staff here is OUTSTANDING! Thank you Jennifer Locke!

What on earth is @Michael_J_Matt doing at the “Restore Tradition” Women’s Conference. Calling our Blessed Mother a “feminist?” Appealing to “feminine power,” & telling women they need to *lead* men “back to sanity?” This is actually INSANE.

And, right on cue, immediately following the keynote speech, when people were hob-nobbing and networking, I was verbally attacked by a crazy lady who came up to me while I was talking with a group of people and started shouting at me and my pregnant wife. “You don’t know what’s happening in Israel!” “Muslims wouldn’t let us into Bethlehem.” Zionism this, and anti-Semite that. Of course she wouldn’t let me respond, she wouldn’t engage in productive dialogue, and frankly she just made an ass of herself in front of a group of Catholics I was taking with. Then, to absolutely nobody’s surprise, she was in the hallway talking to Erin Barnard (and her husband Lucky) who are both big-wigs at Candlelight Christian Fellowship. And, of course it was the “Christians” at Candlelight that my initial tweet was directed at. Their pastor, Paul Van Noy, told me on the phone a couple years ago that Israel would stop bombing babies “when the hostages are released” proving my point that these “Christians” don’t care about preserving innocent life at all. Anyway, beside this crazy woman, the evening was generally nice and hopeful! Will have a more positive follow up post about tonight’s event in a few minutes. Oh, and here’s a picture of the woman who verbally harassed me and my pregnant wife (she follows me on this app btw).
