Our civilization has to embrace super intelligence and make it legal to build things.
That or we’re just going to have to get rid of these massive welfare states and tell older folks that young workers can’t support them anymore.
This cannot be our future.
The average Canadian family pays over 44.6% of their income in taxes. More than food, shelter, and clothing combined. Even the Romans had it better.

REPORTER: “So you’re not against data centers in general?”
PENNSYLVANIA MAN: “No, no! Because we either move on or we go down the drain. That’s the way I see it.”
Wired had a paleontologist answer my question about why we shouldn’t drive sharks to extinction.
I found his answer unsatisfying frankly.
The only thing wrong with the death penalty is that it takes so long to administer, and that’s totally correctable. Virginia gets it done in 8 years.

Another reason I’m glad Ron DeSantis didn’t become President. He would have never met this moment, and China would be controlling our data.
Why? To make it even harder for the government to recruit top talent?
Members of Congress and their staff should be paid more too, for the record.
Dario is a plan-truster now.
Welcome home, brother. 🫡
🚨 NOW: Anthropic chief DARIO just walked up and said President Trump helped put his Super Intelligence worries at ease
"If we do this right, we work with the President and everyone here, we can win safely!"
Imagine that, all it took was DONALD J. TRUMP getting involved and the tables are turning!
No more SI dooming, no more surrendering to China.
America will remain number one BOTH for national and economic security, as long as Trump is president 👏🏻
Congress bans web scrapers lmao
A new proposal in Congress targets software—AI agents or regular code—that “burdens” websites.
But what does “burden” mean? Every website visit—even by Google’s search crawlers—burdens a website to some degree.
That vague standard could expose routine automation to severe legal risk.

Let me be clear:
This smug look is never coming off my face.

Yeah, you're a dangerous fascist immature p****, and most probably a coward. If you were not so oblivious, and you were confronted with reality that smug comes off your face quick.
The earnings growth is gonna be better than the 55 and a half percent of the long end
Crime and social dysfunction are the reason we can’t have beautiful, high density cities btw.
You’re just hurting your own quality of life by not being aggressively pro-law and order.
If you don’t want something built there’s a really easy solution:
Buy the property lol. Raise money for that purpose if you can’t afford it personally.
The crybaby entitlement to rights in property you happen to live near has been a disaster for our civilization.

Flock is good technology that can help save lives and you are retarded.
Part 3:
“If we didn’t have that, so many things would go unsolved.”
I happened to meet a retired deputy sheriff who was acutely aware of the value of ALPR systems in solving crimes and missing persons cases but wanted to see some guardrails around their usage.
Part 2:
I pushed back a little on the privacy concerns I heard from Carolina Beach DeFlockers by posing a simple question:
Is a license plate really private to begin with?
Basically everyone I spoke to acknowledged that it is not.
They had broader, more speculative fears about future applications of ALPR technology.
And in some cases, critics pointed to applications that Flock simply doesn’t support, like facial recognition.
