But wait, isn't that foreign influence? Oh right, it's profitable foreign influence.

Why do all his projects sound like something a bunch of 10-year-old boys came up with at a sleepover?
Palmer Luckey unveils “Warhound,” a $200 million startup developing genetically enhanced dogs for the US military in partnership with Colossal Biosciences and Anduril Industries.
Colossal will provide genetic engineering and cloning expertise, while Anduril will equip the dogs with advanced cybernetic technology and battlefield awareness systems.

Israel has murdered a who's who of frontline journalists exposing its crimes in southern Lebanon, so I have little doubt it destroyed Radwan Mortada's family home as revenge for his blockbuster investigative documentary on the pager attacks
His home was several km behind the Israeli-imposed yellow line, so the occupying soldiers went out of their way to blow it up
The photos in @wyattreed13's report illustrate what a devastating loss this is
Earlier this year, Israel was destroying 1000 homes a day in southern Lebanon
The Israeli army targeted prominent Lebanese journalist, @radwanmortada, pillaging and demolishing his hand built family home, located outside the “buffer zone” in southern Lebanon
Was it retaliation for his widely-viewed film on Israel’s pager attacks?

.@deanhmsrshall11. Russia accepted the borders of Ukraine in 1991, though most Russians regarded them as stupid and unrealistic. It didn’t matter until the West began trying to end Ukraine’s previous non-aligned status, and to turn it into a political and military ally of the USA
Replying to @ClarkeMicah
How does your NATO expansion idea sit alongside Putin’s repeated statements, including him recently, that those were never Ukrainian territories and they are historically Russian? His invasion sounds more like imperialism.

Unbelievable hypocrisy. This Eurocrat-Commissar-dictator has forced many European countries to import hundreds of thousands, even millions of migrants from outside the EU in recent years.
And now she says it was Russia forcing such damaging policies on Europe.

Real-world politicians, military leaders and intelligence experts take part in a simulated scenario responding to a Russian attack on UK soil. As the gripping @skytv series reaches a harrowing conclusion tonight, I’ll host a debate with the entire cast (including “PM” Michael Gove and his “deputy” @NicolaSturgeon ) and a live audience. I’ll speak to the real defence secretary @wesstreeting and ask if the UK has the readiness, resilience and resolve for a potential war. Watch The Wargame: Aftermath on Sky One and Now TV at 10pm. #tv #defence #russia #war

EU war fascism in a nutshell:
1. Make up a story about Russia waging a relentless “hybrid war” on Europe — so hybrid you can’t see it, but “believe us they’re totally attacking us day in and day out, it’s brutal”.
2. Sanction (and soon, probably, lock up) anyone who disagrees, by calling it “disinformation” and making it illegal.
Europe faces waves of airspace violations and sabotage, but also a relentless stream of Russian disinformation.
That is why the EU today sanctioned Xenia Fedorova.
We're defending our information space against fabricated lies and deliberate manipulation. This is deterrence, not censorship.
The EU will continue to counter Russia's destabilising activities.

It's a matter of self-interest.
If there was peace with Russia, you do not need NATO. They are always going to say Russia is going to invade. They have to; otherwise they do not keep their jobs and pensions.

No country did more to make the case for free speech over the last 300 years than Britain. And yet it has made over 62,000 arrests over the last five years for "communications offences," which have included doing nothing more than watching a TikTok video. It's terrifying just how totalitarian the UK has become.
🚨 NEWS: Our groundbreaking new investigation into the scale of Britain’s free speech crisis is front page of the Mail on Sunday today.
Time for @andyburnham to listen - we want a free speech reset.
I’ve written to him today calling for an urgent review into our laws on speech

This 👇 is insane and really illustrates how far France has fallen.
France's Foreign Minister, Jean-Noël Barrot, now says that anyone "who is distrustful of the European Union" is basically a useful idiot for Putin.
The implication being that distrust or criticism of the EU is not a legitimate democratic position anymore but a form of collaboration with "the enemy."
Which is absolutely insane given France's recent history: De Gaulle was famously opposed to the very kind of supranational Europe that the EU has become, and so have been a number of major French political figures both on the right (like Philippe Séguin) or the left (like Jean-Pierre Chevènement).
Not to mention the 55% of French voters who rejected the EU Constitution in 2005 (and whose vote was ignored because that very constitution was adopted later on regardless under the Treaty of Lisbon).
In effect, by Barrot's criteria - heck, by the current French government criteria since he is speaking as the government's Foreign Minister - De Gaulle, Séguin, Chevènement and 55% of the French population would be classified as Russian agents 🤦
The craziest aspect of it, if you take a step back, is that, fundamentally, people like De Gaulle who opposed EU integration did so because they cared first and foremost about France - about its independence, its sovereignty, its right to govern itself.
Calling that a form of foreign allegiance is just absurd and a complete inversion of reality: love of country and patriotism is being rebranded as treason.
More worryingly, this also shows the current state of the "democratic debate" in France, which is neither democratic, nor a debate.
Not democratic because this is the French government treating legitimate and reasonable positions as treason.
And not a debate because there's nothing left to debate: the EU has become a dogma, and distrust of it has become disloyalty and taboo.
One can legitimately be afraid that this is the road to a form of totalitarian ideology across Europe, dressed up as centrism, where the only acceptable position is unquestioning loyalty to supranational institutions whose defenders, tellingly, would rather question the patriotism of their critics than submit themselves to the verdict of the people.

Here is an FBI document showing that Schiff was promised head of the CIA job by Hillary.
He was so angry when Hillary lost and President Trump won, that Schiff leaked false but classified "report" by John Brennan's operative that I had an affair with President Trump's National Security Advisor and that I was a Russian spy.
The FBI and the DoJ, despite having all the evidence, never charged Schiff.

Hilariously the narrative here is basically that the fall of Syria is partly Beijing's fault because they expelled radicalized Uyghur fighters who then went and did in Syria what they couldn't do at home.
Knowing this journalist it's no doubt meant as a criticism of China, but she ironically does a great job vindicating Beijing's core argument : that the threat by those radical extremists was serious enough to justify extraordinary security measures.
And, by glamorizing them and calling them mere "militants", the author also unwittingly reveals what many in the West were hoping to see happen in Xinjiang: a bloody Syria-style collapse and a takeover of the region by Al-Qaeda types... In everything I've seen about the book, there doesn't seem to be an ounce of a notion that maybe, just maybe, people in Xinjiang - including the Uyghurs - are better off in a peaceful region with world-class infrastructure than the ruins the book's heroes left behind in Syria.
Woo first copies are here! Our Hearts Burned For Home, on sale very soon October 12.
The book unearths the untold story of Uyghur exiles who fled China’s expanding police state—only to become a pivotal force behind the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

You want to know who the bravest Americans were during America’s war in Vietnam?
Not the generals. Not the politicians. Not the architects of the policy.
The people who went to prison rather than go to war.
The veterans who threw their medals over the White House fence.
The soldiers who fragged their own officers rather than lead their men into one more pointless assault.
The journalists who filed the reports that showed the gap between the official story and the bodies on the ground.
The Vietnamese-American translators who told the truth in rooms where the truth was unwelcome.
These people did not feed on the machine.
They put themselves in the machine's path.
At real cost. Not abstract cost.
Real cost: imprisonment, career destruction, harassment, violence, social death.
They are the ones the empire's history books minimize or omit.
Because an empire that fully honored its internal resisters would be forced to ask why resistance was necessary.
And that question leads somewhere the story cannot afford to go.

Babies are the opposite of LLMs. They begin by watching, for hours on end: as you pick up and drop things; cut your finger; bump into doors posts; and listen as you rattle those pots and pans.
By the time they start to speak, they have already built a sophisticated model of the world.
Just as Flock cameras teach AI.

To anyone who fought in the GWOT, or family who lost a service member, supposedly fighting al -Qaeda all those years ago - to be told by Trump Admin and Israel that AQ is our friend…
But Why? you ask me. Why would Trump commit this High Treason against America? For the exact same reason that Barack Hussein Obama did:
Israel needs the U.S.A. to support al Qaeda against Iran and Hezbollah.
And Israel's wish is America's command.
