I am one to secure change through education and development. Strikes create confrontation. Education and transparency is the answer

#cljfl referee induction. Age 14 - 17. Sadly approx 10 of these refs will quit soon due to adults in our league shouting and swearing at them. If you see it report it! Look after our refs. #Refspect

Brilliant! Just watched a sky news report on @HampshireFA ‘s silent weekend. All feedback from parents went as folllowed: “Not sure”, “Don’t like it”, “Kids didn’t like it” Kids interviewed feedback: “really enjoyed it” “communicated more” “was better” Who’s game is it?!

Last week was sad to hear of a young Ref getting criticised. Saw it for myself today. Something has to change. Why do young people become targets when they pull on a refs kit? You wouldn’t shout at a 15 year old in any other context, so why do it on a pitch? @refspect

A MASSIVE well done to @Towno10 and the @kickitout team. 👏👏👏 The @KickItOutRYG event was a huge success. The desire, passion and hunger of the mentees gave a real inspirational buzz to the atmosphere.

#ReFspect It's ReFspect weekend and whilst we haven't got a game we want to send our appreciation to everyone who takes on this often thankless task. In honour of all of you we thought we would add a photo of one of our favourites.
