Should do another one but with his skull instead. That would be really satisfying.

You could justify the Norman conquest of England and the brutal harrying of north with this same twisted logic. It is actually irrelevant how developed or undeveloped the Palestinians were: while Haifa, Gaza, Jaffa, Acre, were thriving port cities that exported a decent amount of goods to the Mediterranean and MENA. The rest of the country were villages and towns, filled with peasants who worked their farms and lands for generations. The peasants were the life blood of the country, and anyone who claims to be blood and soil nationalist knows this about peasantry. These people were the descendants of the ancient Canaanites who had lived on that land for millennia, and the idea that they should be driven off their land, their houses and farms stolen by shtetl Jews who had never even touched a hoe, plow, or shovel in their life before migrating on mass to Palestine is ludicrous. Look at the kibbutzim now: what was supposed to be the pinnacle of so called β€˜Hebrew labor’ have turned into resort towns where the Jews don’t work, they have Arabs and SE-Asians work it for them. The settlers don’t even grow their own crops or raise their own livestock: they steal it from the Palestinians in the West Bank. In fact, the settlements aren’t self- sufficient; they’re completely reliant on subsidies from the Israeli state, and they still use non-Jews for the majority of their labor within their settlements. Ancient houses and farming terraces, millennia of culture and history is being destroyed for what? So Jews can build ugly as fuck LA-style suburban tract homes subsidized by the Israeli state and private donations, while 2/3rds of settlers don’t even work *in* the West Bank, they commute to Israel proper? What kind of civilization is this?
Replying to @VonSturmhart
Let’s not pretend the Palestinians had much civilisation to speak of in the desert there either

β€œEvery happiness that a man enjoys, and almost every friendship that he cherishes, rest upon illusion; for, as a rule, with increase of knowledge they are bound to vanish. Nevertheless, here as elsewhere, a man should courageously pursue truth, and never weary of striving to settle accounts with himself and the world. No matter what happens to the right or to the left of him, be it a chimaera or fancy that makes him happy, let him take heart and go on, with no fear of the desert which widens to his view. Of one thing only must he be quite certain: that under no circumstances will he discover any lack of worth in himself when the veil is raised; the sight of it would be the Gorgon that would kill him. Therefore, if he wants to remain undeceived, let him in his inmost being feel his own worth.” β€” Arthur Schopenhauer, Parerga and Paralipomena

β€œTo die twenty years too early or twenty years too late is of no consequence. All that matters is to find a good death. Only with this goal in mind can we truly begin to live. Short or long, life is only worth living if we do not have to blush for it at the moment we must render it. Only the soul counts and must dominate all else.” β€” LΓ©on Degrelle, The Burning Souls

β€œGod desires not only that the nations be saved, but each individual soul. A simple Indian, believing in his own way in the Creator and fulfilling His will as best he can, will be saved; but he who, knowing about Christianity, follows the Indian mystical path, will not.” - Saint Nektary of Optina (Ivan Kontzevitch, Elder Nektary of Optina, p. 181)

The interesting part is who actually benefits from this. Employers get a larger labour pool and more leverage over wages, politicians get to posture as morally righteous, and ordinary people are left dealing with the consequences. And it’s all dressed up as compassion, so the people pointing out the consequences end up on the defensive while those responsible get to hide behind their own supposed good intentions. At some point, you have to ask who this arrangement is really serving.

Wow man that's crazy. Anyway let's check in on what St Justinian, who's law Orthodox Christian government is based on, did to homosexual clergy.
Just a reminder the orthodox church does NOT support the death penalty. Any orthodox ragging on the pope for his statement are ignorant of their own church's official teaching. It seems many people believe "conservative idea = orthodox church position."

The papacy thinks that the death penalty is morally inadmissible, but also that life sentences are the same. So if you're roman catholic, you have to believe that every prisoner should be released at some point.
