Interesting article that I would recommend for grad students, particularly in STEM. Writing is an essential part of research. It often makes you understand your research better when you need to explain it to others.

Wrapping up an incredible year of collaboration! Huge thanks to @rfukasawa for joining us at the @ScaleAICanada Chair at @polymtl during your sabbatical. Excited to continue our projects on #ORMS, constraint programming, and trustworthy ML!
Congratulations to #mip2024 poster winner Dahye Han, and honorable mentions Noah Weninger and Siddharth Prasad.
Noah also got voted most popular poster! Congratulations to all!
Now it is a conference. But where is @JeffLinderoth ? #mip2024
Congratulations to #mip2024 computational competition winners (Yongzheng Dai and Chen Chen) and honorable mention (Rolf van der Hulst).
Hard to decide which posters to look at in #mip2024. So many interesting looking ones!
But these two look promising 😉 in my unbiased opinion

*Trained Random Forests Completely Reveal your Dataset!* arxiv.org/abs/2402.19232v1
#MachineLearning models encode extensive information that can be exploited to reconstruct most --if not all-- of their private training data. Wanna know how? Buckle up! (1/8)

Have you ever imagined if Dantzig had a sister? Well, we did!
In the latest article of the s.t. column, @AliceRaffaele1 (the creative force behind it) and I discuss why there is still the need for such days, and the challenges faced by women in #orms.

In honor of yesterday's International Day of Women and Girls in Science, check out the thought-provoking article, "If Dantzig Had a Sister," which borrows Virginia Woolf's thinking to reimagine gender inequality in STEM. [OR/MS Today] bit.ly/3ST7MgK

Fantastic historical presentation by @ed_uchoa and @rrsadykov. Their take on the Column Generation technique's origins is filled with revelations & corrections. But there's more - a profound delve into science's battle amidst Stalinist USSR. A must-see! youtu.be/C5SpAWGn0dE
Very proud of my PhD student and @WaterlooMath student Noah Weninger for winning both best and most popular poster at #mip2023!
#proudpapa
Congratulations to Noah Weninger for the most popular & the best poster awards at #mip2023!
The committee felt that this poster embodied the artful work that we love seeing at MIP: a carefully designed algorithm, the convenient use of a relaxation & great computational results.
Very honored to be among such a great group of researchers featured in this awesome work done by @Subjectto_ !!

Now it is a conference! Just missing @JeffLinderoth #aussois2023 With @meurevine, @melkor_ia , @AndreaOmarT , @UlfFriedrich , and Christopher Hojny. @akazachk photography
Submitted our work on the bilevel knapsack to IPCO! Hope it goes well!
It has been a fun first work on the topic of bilevel IP, with great results, improving state of the art by up to 3 orders of magnitude.
Joint work with my PhD student Noah Weninger.
