Many people I hadn’t met before stopped me at #INFORMS2024 to tell me they either have or plan to assign some of my teaching materials to their students (games and/or YouTube videos). That fills my heart with joy! Thank you! ❤️ Let me know what your students thought, please! I was also asked to create games on other topics. I’ll try my best!

Delighted to share that our paper “Sparse PCA With Multiple Components”(w/ Jean Pauphilet) has been awarded first place in the 2024 INFORMS DMDA workshop paper competition-theoretical track. Thanks to the organizers for a fun event!
Update 📣 Added a section that generalizes the Gershgorin Circle Theorem to multiple PCs with sparsity constraints, improved our step-sizing scheme, added more datasets, open-sourced our code New preprint optimization-online.org/2022… Code github.com/ryancorywright/Mu…

I prosecuted sexual assault cases in Texas. I prosecuted these cases for 17 years. I never prosecuted an undocumented immigrant for rape. I prosecuted multiple Christian pastors for rape. As a descendant of a holocaust survivor, I have to speak up against this hate.
