Don’t worry about people and what people will say, they will die. Your critics, your exes, the coworkers you stepped on, the family you disappointed, the strangers calling you stupid online; all of them will be dead. Their opinions will be gone. So why are you still pretending any of it matters?

Everything is vanity upon vanity. Your degree, your job, your “purpose,” your carefully curated personality, the house, the car, the kids you poured yourself into, all of it is temporary noise that ends in the same dirt and the same silence. Nobody will remember your name in 150 years. The people you love will die. The things you built will rot away. The opinions you fight for online will be forgotten by next week. You’re not leaving a legacy. You’re just delaying the moment you admit none of it was ever real. So why are you still pretending any of it matters?

Not the “inner peace,” “time with family,” or “doing what you love” version people invent so they can feel better about staying broke and average. What actually qualifies as being SUCCESSFUL? Be specific. Money, status, results, or something else?
