This year's State Fair brought record breaking attendance - and many of the fair attendees took DART to/from it. However, @cityofplanotx and @thecityofirving have not released a plan for how they'll get people to the state fair after they're done killing DART.

The less money you put into transit the less you get. This is the DCTA deal, it's not very good. Doesn't help existing DCTA riders, it provides a crucial service to Frisco but with very limited eligibility.

Nearly a third of people living in the US- people with disabilities, young people, seniors, and people who can’t afford cars or gas- do not drive. And yet, our transportation system does not prioritize those who walk, roll, bike, or take transit as their primary mode. DATA is proud to join this event with Dallas Bicycle Coalition. This September 30-October 6, join the national campaign, Week Without Driving, as we seek to highlight the experience of nondrivers and advocate for a transportation system that works for everyone.
