Pavements. It comes back to pavements and garbage.
Simple problem to fix - and suddenly Indian cities will stop looking so bad at the ground level.
You can add traffic and air pollution to the wish list of problems to fix, but that may take time.
Pavements can literally be fixed in a few months.
Ethiopia capital, in a country with a GDP per capita of just $1,000, fun fact. Almost 50% of its population lacks access to electricity, and its HDI is worse than Bihar’s, yet its capital still mogs our Tier-1 cities. 😭😭
Our cities are our PR to the world, and we’re doing almost nothing to fix them.
Ethiopia’s capital PR > India PR.

Casteism. Walking, cycling, public transport is still looked down upon. Effectively no one cares about the street. Also explains our obesity & diabetes issues. Easy barometer for total urban failure is visible by looking at the street where @CMOMaharashtra residence is, which is devoid of any planning whatsoever.

Because it’s a road and they have waited long enough anyway for politicians when instead it should have been opened when it was done not when it’s auspicious

You can’t replace the grit and culture that makes great cities great

Strongly disagree. We have several business districts that can be vastly improved.

So you don’t want your child to understand the violence that occurred in the name of God so that he/ his generation don’t repeat the same horrible mistakes? You’d rather bury your head in the ground and pretend nothing done was wrong?

Charge people to carry on a bag and make first checked bags free. Faster boarding and deplaning.

@MTPHereToHelp does anyone in your entire organisation understand this?

This intersection is also extremely poorly planned because there’s no smooth way for cars coming from the left to go right causing massive jams by people shuffling across lanes. Really wonder which road planner made this (answer: probably none, just a bridge contractor)

Because civil liberties, press freedom, and political discourse have been restricted, heavily policed, and aggressively targeted by investigative bodies under direction from the government.
i gave 5.6 sol access to my camera roll and had it extract pictures of every piece of clothing i own from my photos
