And I am saying to leave my friends and teachers alone and stop pretending to care about me so you can use me as a political pawn. 11/11

I am one of very few Jewish students at Balboa High School. I’m sure many of you have seen the viral videos of a pro-Palestine walkout at my school. One in particular has been viewed nearly 17 million times. 1/11

This piece ostensibly about bad art reviews by @elisabethnicula is absolutely fantastic. momus.ca/bad-reviews/

My debut at @Slate: Venture capitalists are parasites who couldn't be trusted with the financial institution that held up their industry, let alone the direction of our technological development. Euthanizing them is imperative if we want a better world.

they're putting up fences at a free festival and paying hella cops overtime to patrol. it's messing up the bike/ped paths through the park
remove cars from MLK and give it to bikers, it's the least they can do. bike infra is always the last to be built and first to be repurposed

The Great Highway south of Sloat is crumbling into the sea. Prop I would undo a decade of planning & add incredible safety risks & costs. This is climate denialism, plain & simple. It would also end the popular weekend walkway north of Sloat. Vote no on I. sfexaminer.com/news/the-grea…

this new vroomer lit drop is a little on the nose..

ALT A modified version of the Yes on I (cars back on JFK) flyer The background is orange, reminiscent of Orange Sky Day Sep 9, 2020. Cars and smoke obscure the park and people in the background. Text in the middle reads "Access for CARS" then a giant letter I. at the bottom "Golden Gate Park is for CARS". At the top "also let the water treatment treatment plant fall into the ocean for some reason"

every bus stop in SF should be free of obstructions — whether those obstructions are private businesses or private cars. every stop should have shade, protection from rain and seating. anyone who spends their time arguing against that isn’t serious about accessibility or transit.

Kind of wild that bike commuting is still the most pleasant option despite all of the attempted murder

Hot take, but sometimes, I actually like how slow biking, walking, & even transit can be. So much of our lives are about brutal, relentless efficiency & productivity, often not even for our own benefit. Going slow can be a form of resistance, and it shouldn't be a big privilege.
