🚨 PRO TIP 🚨 When it comes to blockchain tech there is nothing new about: Open Source Accounting Business Finance Public Orgs Sales & Marketing Thats the irony of the disruption for people in the 'west'. So what IS the disruption!? No more `root user` problem (iykyk)😉

I’ve seen investors take weeks or even months to wire. One investment of mine waited 2 months for $150,000 an investor promised. This is one of the worst screwups an investor can make. If you don’t want to commit to a company, don’t! But once you’re committed, you need to follow through ASAP.

The more I see about the design of #WoWForever the less it seems to be "Classic Plus", and the more it seems to be "Retail Minus". What made Vanilla: A: Emergent Gameplay B: Hard endgame requiring guild co-ordination srs gamers would know... @Asmongold @Xaryu @EsfandTV

Y'all went and turned me back into the old me. I'm just getting started. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Interesting to start looking back at the last year already. And a great chance to check out the new version of @VotrSocial just launched! Better market surveyance leads to more accurate results. Our users were 85%+ accurate from 1 year ago in this case:

Great chat as usual, especially tune in to the first 50mins to hear what Chad *really* thought about the Tay/Laura interview.

I've been on a mission to find the solution to crypto self-custody. So far, from what I hear at least, @ikadotxyz's 2PC-MPC solution seems to come the closest to what I imagine an ultimate implementation would look like. Watch this whole chat with @d3h3d_.

Do VCs and investors know how much trash founders talk about them? We view most of them as idiots. Somehow they got lucky and got money, and now they think they are hot stuff because so many founders asking them for money. Thats why I appreciate the few who are decent so much!

Everyone in crypto still pretending most of whats going on is “decentralization” or even remotely democratic, is out to lunch. But now it looks like the problem is being solved?
Most DAOs aren’t decentralized. Complex all-or-nothing proposals + clunky tools = a silenced community, and a small core group in control. Low engagement → slow decisions → projects that can’t adapt. In a fast-moving industry, that’s a death sentence. Votr fixes this.

Here's the existing solution @laurashin. Going after those responsible, rather than wasting time with the impossible task of trying to censor permissionless protocols. Long history of CEX's getting hacked btw... @benbybit @GracyBitget @star_okx
1/ How I infiltrated a Chinese organized crime syndicate that has laundered $1B+ across multiple exploits for Lazarus Group. Posing as a client, I gathered intel that helped action freezes for the Feb 2025 Bybit exploit and attribute illicit activity onchain.

Goals and accomplishments are different things. But continued "failures" can be demoralizing.
Confession: I missed every two-week goal we set during YC But I got close, every single time The goals were so ridiculous that repeatedly falling short still meant we were growing like hell

Excellent advice for all the founders out there. YOU are the person most influential to the success of your startup. Work on YOU if you want to change things in your startup.
Whenever I feel the YC intensity wearing off, I set a ridiculous goal with an even more ridiculous deadline Suddenly there's no time to overthink anything and we're shipping like hell again Apparently you can just do things

Biggest misconception: that just blocking some addresses will block those funds (hackers will just mix), AND that to block addresses there would have to be some decision making process to validate of the claims of the funds being stolen (you can't prove it wasn't an inside job).
I host THORChain core dev @cbarraford and @tayvano_ on the Bitget hack: what a Mimir vote can and can't do, the per-chain signing halt three nodes could trigger, and who collects the fees when DPRK swaps to BTC. Monday 3:20pm ET xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1qKDzWEWe…

Why are some crypto token holders so reluctant to sell a bad token? Better to get off a sinking ship than ride it all the way down... @BrandonBBMe
