We often focus our enforcement efforts against those who do most harm to vulnerable road users. This chart shows why a lot of that effort is directed at car drivers. On average 5 people are killed every day in the UK as a result of a collision. We must all do better. #Fatal5

💰 Private Equity: the hottest trend of the next decade for private equity will see them purchase companies, make them remote-first The cost saving in real-estate at scale will be eye-watering. The productivity gains will be the final nail in the coffin for the office

It seems to me the significant thing that happened tonight was that government placed responsibility for the infection rate on the public taking sensible decisions. So if infections and deaths go up again it will be the public not the government that caused it.

Join us for an evening of unconference-style open space discussion about everything .NET. Bring your ideas, thoughts, frustrations and opportunities, and let's see how well we can adapt the open spaces format to online events! See y'all there: meetup.com/London-NET-User-G…

So the discussion about Open Application Model reminded me how limiting this medium is for peer-to-peer discussions. So "London Calling to the faraway towns..." meetup.com/London-NET-User-G… //cc @LondonDotNet

Having been a trainer & speaker @skillsmatter for 8 yrs it was very sad when it came to an end. After lots of soul searching, I’ve decided to go it alone. I’d be grateful if you could help me spread the word! indd.adobe.com/view/df883ade… #publicspeaking #leadershipdevelopment

WATCH: The most amazing thing about this absolutely AMAZING car commercial, is that it doesn’t seem to realize how effectively it makes the point that cars are a HUGE waste of space in cities. Award-winning 2002 ad for Saturn cars. HT @javiermalagon
