Huge update from MTA:
New map shows their proposal for the next phase of the 2nd Ave line, would extend the Q west across 125th St., connecting 7 add'l subway lines, ending with storage tracks leading north. 164k projected daily riders.
MTA is studying keeping the same boring machines etc going from the current 2nd ave extension to save time and money.
