The connection b/w GSW fans and Klay is one of those rare, magical sports things where an elite talent with a totally genuine, relatable personality lands on the kind of team where he can turn that talent into big moments. There are great players who might spend their entire careers in one place and will never quite hit this sweet spot.
The NBA cup is the worst idea Adam Silver ever had. And absolutely shameful to accept blood and oil money from Emirates. The monstrous courts, the cringe ads. No one cares. It cheapens NBA basketball just as the regular season is heating up.

A small but significant detail from last night’s game: Wiggins smoked a layup and then got blocked badly at the rim early in the game. Normally he would faze himself out of the game and take a back seat. Last night he continued moving forward with aggressiveness, didn’t let anything faze him. It was a grind out game for him, and he didn’t let anything hold him back. A good sign of where he’s at headspace wise. The Warriors are a much better team with this version of Wiggins. Not to mention what he brings on the defensive end of the floor.
