Today is 12th shahadat anniversary of "The First Shaheed Lady Officer of the Pakistan Army" Capt Shumaila Nadeem Shaheed 🇵🇰
Capt Shumaila Nadeem Shaheed (AFNS) was serving at CMH Rawalpindi. She was promoted to the rank of captain just six months before her shahadat.
She, along with her husband, two young daughters (Hania and six-month-old Inaya), and her 14-year-old niece Rimsha, embraced martyrdom in the Wagah border suicide bomb attack on 2nd Nov 2014.
She is the first female officer of the Pakistan Army to have embraced martyrdom in the ongoing war on terrorism.
