Great being on @SquawkCNBC today. We think demand for AI will increase 100x over the next few years but data and compute will not---fun talking about this live. Thanks @andrewrsorkin!

Me the first time seeing @flappyairplanes demo this megakernel framework
Replying to @flappyairplanes
We’ve developed the world’s most complete megakernel framework. It can perform entire training runs, serve inference, play video games, and even do all three simultaneously in a single kernel.

Not sure when you last rode the NY subway, but we’re not exactly feeling AI on the daily commute. Most of the economy is data-poor: robotics, wet labs, toaster supply chains... Flapping is working on ways to train AI on less data and compute. @HOFCapital is proud to back them.
We’ve spent the past year developing new primitives for GPUs. We believe this enables new algorithms to change how machines learn, open new markets, and dramatically reshape AI’s cost structure. We have raised a $1 billion Series A, co-led by Index and Lux.

We are proud to be an investor in Warp. @ayushswrites is going after one of the most entrenched categories in software, payroll, HR, compliance, benefits, and IT, and rebuilding it as a single platform where AI agents do the work legacy systems leave to people. Many founders only talk about that. We believe this team ships it, and fast. Congrats to Ayush and the team on the 2.0 launch. We’re excited for what’s next.
We’ve raised $85M for this moment. Introducing Warp 2.0: The first AI Head of HR. Every company is building AI to replace jobs. Warp is building AI to do the jobs no human should have to: If you work in HR, I want you to spend time with the manager who needs help or building company culture people actually want to work at. If you’re a founder, I want you to focus on signing clients or spending time with your family. You shouldn’t have to figure out how to register state tax in California. You shouldn’t have to pay outrageous penalties because you don't know what a DE 9C is. I want to make HR human again. Today, this is finally possible with the Warp Agent. I’d love for you to see it in action: warp.co/agent

Annual note to self. Must see if he is available to append with the Kingmaker criterion… xitter.cf/ryanshmeizer/status/20…
Every few years, the market forgets this. In 2017 I paid Andy Dick $25 to remind me: "Capital is not a moat!" Still correct.

Muse got me better seats for Harry Potter on Broadway — and for $80 less than my beloved SeatGeek. Also saved me from the rookie error of picking closer seats with a worse view. Muse is opinionated and pragmatic. Great product. Good job Zuckersaurus.

Nobody gets fired for buying IBM. But somebody definitely gets fired for buying an AI product that files fraudulent claims or calls a regulator a racial slur. Since AI companies sell outcomes, and outcomes carry liability, someone has to absorb that risk. Per Mustafa, “AI’s should not have rights or legal personhood.” So who carries the bag? Labs with large balance sheets can “self-insure” with existing product liability rules. But for everyone else to actually deploy AI across the economy, we need a way to price and transfer risk. @aiunderwriting is building that infrastructure.
The Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company has raised $55M to audit and insure frontier AI models. Insurance produces audits the public can trust and understand. The mechanism is simple: insurers need audits to price the risk. They pick auditors they believe will help them price the risk most accurately. Insurers then turn the audits into a price signal that cuts through political debates. Insurers are aligned with the public: if they get the audits wrong, they go out of business. That’s different from today, where labs pick their own auditors, creating public distrust. Insurance only works if we scale up auditing, and we are building the infrastructure to do that. Millions of agents are being deployed; they leave terabytes of traces and will create thousands of incidents across dozens of risk categories. To scale auditing, we need reliable agents to surface evidence traces for human review. History guides us. Take cars: auto insurers funded crash tests to price risks; crash tests led us to airbags, lowering the risk. Take electricity: home insurers funded lightbulb tests to price fire risks; today, every lightbulb carries a safety mark. Nuclear safety works similarly. We’ve been learning by doing.. In the last 6 months, we’ve audited and insured frontier agent builders like Cursor, ElevenLabs, Lovable and Harvey. For ElevenLabs to get the world’s first agent insurance coverage, a Lloyd’s of London insurer required quarterly technical audits by an auditor of the insurer’s choice. We’ve built infrastructure for quarterly technical audits of any agent, working alongside firms like Gray Swan (technical evaluations) and Schellman (audit). In the coming weeks, we’ll share our vision for how an insurance ecosystem can work for the frontier, and open source the world’s first actuarial model for frontier AI catastrophic risk. We’re hiring across all roles in San Francisco. Come do your life’s work with us. Rune & Rajiv

Today, we’re releasing Kalypta, the first app to block AI notetakers in your meetings. Granola? Wisprflow? Cluely? No more. With Kalypta, you become inaudible to AI. Your call continues normally.

I've attempted to map everything in oncology in a public website and open source repo for all. The site is trying to get all cancers, products, technologies, bottlenecks, people, startup opportunities with 1000+ ideas for upgrading the field. If you have a loved one with cancer and you are technical or can engineer, go take a look, file improvement requests or bugs or help with the open repo and make this the best open and free info resource for individuals, researchers and educational use. This should save people time, aid AI oncology projects and generate positive action. If you are not technical just complain in this thread about broken or annoying or things you want and I'll fix them live. Some of the interesting pages: Treatments: onco.cc/drugs A gallery of the molecules being used onco.cc/molecules/ And targets: onco.cc/targets/ The technologies in oncology: onco.cc/technologies/ 1100 ideas for helping oncology: onco.cc/ideas/ Bottlenecks on oncology: onco.cc/bottlenecks/ Open questions (LETS GO RESEARCH PEOPLE) onco.cc/open-questions/ Startup requests (LETS GO STARTUP PEOPLE) onco.cc/startup-requests/ Mechanics of cancer: onco.cc/mechanics Battlefronts: onco.cc/fronts/ Isotope supply: onco.cc/isotopes Key papers: onco.cc/key-papers Pipeline funnels: onco.cc/pipeline Cancer by type: onco.cc/cancers/ Institutional rankings: onco.cc/institutions/ The startups: onco.cc/startups/ Heros and heroines : onco.cc/heroes/ Key medical people: onco.cc/people/ Here is the project roadmap: onco.cc/roadmap/ Models and data sets: onco.cc/models/ There are other views as well, take a browse. Try making a PR if you have an upgrade to this on the repo here: github.com/judegomila/OnCo If you are biologically/medically minded and something is wrong, file a bug as well or say on the thread and we will get it fixed live. If this is a useful project star the repo and help get it calibrated. I've tried to add some other languages but I cannot speak them so tell me if that doesnt work well. I believe we will crack oncology and having total information dominance is key to the problem. Let the feedback flow!

My partner @helhaddad7 discussing the @HOFCapital barbell approach of investing in exponential abundance on one end and priceless assets on the other.
HOF Capital Co-Founder and Managing Partner @helhaddad7 joined @Bloomberg to discuss HOF Capital's completed acquisition of Porsche's stakes in Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Group. With the close, HOF becomes the largest shareholder in Rimac Group alongside @MateRimac, and Hisham joins the supervisory boards of both Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Group.

A while back, @cognition inspired me to write about how AI's business model — getting paid when real value is created for customers — will shift from selling software to guaranteeing outcomes. @HOFCapital wasn't an investor then; today I'm thrilled we are.
The world needs far more software than it can build. Cognition exists to change that. We’ve just raised over $2B at a $48B valuation, led by a16z, Accel, Founders Fund, General Catalyst, and Avenir. Since our round in May, run-rate revenue has grown from $492 M to almost $900 M.

More Americans believe we’ll colonize the moon before we fix K-12 education. This is a policy problem. We have been building a solution that’s already trusted by many of the Fortune 500 as well as 1/3 of federal and state elected officials in the United States. Organizations are more impacted by policy than by financial markets. Yet financial markets have been real-time for decades, and policy markets are still nearly impossible to follow. @StateAffairsUS has raised over $70M from @rabois, @khoslaventures, @foundersfund and others to fix that. We are creating the world’s first real-time knowledge graph for policy and regulatory markets. This platform is foundationally built on non-partisan journalism and the collection of on-the-ground data that isn’t digitally accessible. In the future, we believe every executive will watch policy markets the way they watch financial markets. Instead of reacting to regulation, they’ll navigate it proactively. Policy should iterate at the speed of our most innovative industries.

Huge congrats to our portfolio company @Extropic on achieving a series of exciting breakthroughs (including the tape-out of Z1, its first scaled-up semiconductor chip purpose-built to achieve orders-of-magnitude energy-efficiency gains over conventional GPUs for probabilistic AI workloads) and on signing an LOI for up to $75M in total funding from the US Department of Commerce last week! I’ve witnessed @GillVerd and the rest of the Extropic team working extremely long hours (including weekends, late nights, and holidays) for years in order to bring to life their vision of a new computing stack built from the ground up to be the most energy-efficient for AI. Despite all of the challenges that have come with pursuing this vision, I’ve never seen the Extropic team waver in their conviction, determination, and execution. Their breakthroughs announced today are the products of years of painstaking work and serve as important milestones on their journey to deliver vastly more energy-efficient AI and to maximize the benefits of AI to humanity. Excited about the potential impact that Extropic aims to have on the world, and proud to be the first investor and pre-seed lead investor in Extropic.
