Corn and Wheat prices are down 30-40% from their highs and below the levels they were at before Russia invaded Ukraine. Great to see, hopefully will continue.

With 26.2 mm of rain as of noon since yesterday, April 2022 becomes the 2nd wettest April on record in Winnipeg and wettest April in over 100 years. Additional rain today into this evening will add to the total. (Note: monthly precip totals include total rain and melted snow)

As of 6 pm today (Apr 24), I measured 3.0 cm of snow for Winnipeg today. That puts our seasonal snowfall up to 215.0 cm, surpassing the winter of 1996-97 as the 3rd snowiest winter on record in Winnipeg since 1872. I'm OK if that's our final total but 2022 doesn't want to quit..
