I mourn with a heavy heart the killing of my oldest brother by the Israeli army last Tuesday in Gaza. Sayed, my father figure and the backbone of our family left us at the age of 61 years. His kind and loving personality will be a bear witness to the brutality of the occupation.

This was a very powerful ceremony. Deep gratitude to everyone who shared their own stories.
Among the Engineering students was Barbara Klucznik-Widajewicz, a 1st-year nursing student. She arrived in Montreal from Poland w/her husband in 1987 and was murdered on Dec 6 1989.
Students, staff, and faculty are invited to attend the 14 Not Forgotten ceremony on December 6 to stand against violence towards women. This event honours the 14 women who lost their lives in an engineering class on December 6, 1989.
