If it’s too easy, then it probably isn’t worth going into.

Most data vendors focus on just creating more tasks without a fire to learn how domains work Very few people work in the correct (reverse) order Getting agents to work in production. Then working upstream to build evals and then SFT and RL custom models that can then be transferred to data for a lab

isolation. call it unhealthy if you want, but it remains the most undefeated coping mechanism.
what’s your coping mechanism during hard times?

The sad truth is so many data deals nowadays are complete bullshit Duplicate data originally sold as "exclusive" gets distributed everywhere and labs have little to no way of checking this All these data vendors are repackaging existing data and faking partnerships Spot on 💯
I went through every data vendor that launched in the last 3 weeks. Almost all of them are lying about their revenue, their lab partnerships, and their backgrounds. (skip to 1:04 if you want to skip context) Too many founders and VCs have been fooled by these people. Stop believing everything you hear. Data is much harder than most people think.

"real envs > synthetic envs" feels like mostly 3 things: - a complaint about sloppy synthetic data pipelines - a way to make envs pricier without making them better - synthetic task authors guessing the task distribution because they've never worked with real production traffic at scale real envs ship very hackable tasks too. whereas a carefully built synthetic env that's realistic enough has all the same benefits as real envs, + you get to aim at one failure mode on purpose and isolate it from the random noise

We believe bringing @DoorDash and @Instacart together would help local businesses serve their customers better, grow, and compete. Our platforms only work when they work for the businesses that use them. That’s why, after the deal closes, we’re committing to freeing grocers that have an exclusivity agreement with either DoorDash or Instacart to list on other platforms if they choose. Today, we’re officially announcing @Lovable's London office. In 2024, I met @antonosika and @FabianHedin and shaped the foundations of what became Lovable, mostly from my living room. I flew London to Stockholm as often as I could to maximise time in person. As Lovable took off, we expanded the Stockholm HQ considerably while building the foundations of our London team. From 2025, we bounced between temporary spaces, heads down and locked in on shipping product and brand people love. Now it feels surreal: 70 of us in London, and finally a permanent home. Our second major engineering, product and design hub after Stockholm, with teams across every function. London has always been part of Lovable. Now it has a place to call home. If you're interested in an open role, drop me a DM and swing by for a coffee or lunch on us!
