This morning, we tracked two of the devices violently robbed from members of our team during the brutal attack in Ado-Ekiti on Friday, October 30, 2026, and the locations are deeply disturbing.
One phone was traced to a location directly opposite the office of the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, while our other devices were located opposite Fajuyi Park in Ado-Ekiti.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG and the @OfficialDSSNG have yet to release the CCTV footage seized from Tawakalitu Restaurant, where we were attacked.

@ChideraJE Don’t celebrate too soon. Someone else will use this exact same defense when you, your family, or your friends become the victims. Oppression no dey selective; it eventually reaches everyone. Just like @Sowore painted himself as a victim when his brother was killed, you’ll find yourself singing the same tune when your time comes.
Omoyele Sowore is beginning to make every political disagreement look like another episode of a victimhood campaign.
One minute, the news is that he has been kidnapped. Another time, he’s been beaten, tear-gassed or attacked by the government. Now we’re seeing reports and pictures of him in the ICU with bandages on his leg.
Every incident becomes another opportunity to remind Nigerians how much he has suffered and how much he supposedly cares about the people.
But let’s separate activism from leadership. Being a political activist or constantly finding yourself in confrontations does not automatically translate into having the experience to lead a country.
If Sowore genuinely wants to become Nigeria’s president, why not build his political experience from the grassroots? Contest for local government chairman, move to governor, establish a track record and then make a presidential case.
The presidency of Nigeria should not be anybody’s entry level political position.
Take it or leave it.
