There Was Only One Way the Democrats Could Blow the Midterms — and Lord Help ‘Em, They’re Doing It! | Victoria Taft, PJ Media Forget about packing the Supreme Court, banning ICE, or impeaching the president (again): Should they win congress, the Democrats’ shrewdest move would be moving Election Day to September. ‘Cause if elections were held in September, the Democrats would be undefeated. They’d go from the donkeys to the ’72 Dolphins. The Democrats would run the whole country! But alas, they always peak too early. Fun fact: In the last FIVE presidential elections, during the month of September, the Democrats have led the “poll of polls” aggregate every flippin’ time. It’s become a clear PR pattern: The Democrats build momentum, blitz the media, and peak in popularity before Election Day — and sometimes, they’re so far ahead that the Republicans can’t catch up. Sure, the race tightens down the stretch (uncomfortably so), but the Dems still win. But an awful lot of the time, the donkeys are gassed. There’s nothing left in the tank. So their momentum stalls — and the Republicans soar ahead by the first Tuesday of November. The Dems are all out of ammo, all out of energy, and all out of ideas. Victory slips through their fingers hooves. And once again, the Republicans control the White House, Senate, and/or the House. That's psychologically unnerving for the Democrats, because they really, truly believe their own press clippings: Everyone hates Trump. Everyone thinks they ought to be in charge. Everything they see, hear, and read reinforces how wonderful they are. This election belongs to the Democrats! Then, when they lose, resentment builds. They blame the voters, blame the consultants, blame the DNC, blame Elon Musk’s space lasers, blame Russia, blame social media — and blame everyone but themselves. Yet this pattern persists, because the Dems won’t address the root cause. (Which is the best possible news for the GOP.) Because don’t look now, but the donkeys are doing it again: They’re making the exact same mistake — and this time, it could cost them the 2026 midterms. Between the historic headwinds, President Donald Trump’s dismal approval rating, and sky-high gas prices, the Democrats should win the midterms by a landslide. Since 1934, the president’s party has lost an average of 27 House seats and 3.4 Senate seats in midterm elections. By each and every current metric and historic benchmark, the Democrats should be dominating. So the 2026 midterms ought to be a big, beautiful, Blue Tsunami: They’re the ocean; congress is Atlantis. That’s the Democrats’ expectation — and the catalyst for their error. The danger in believing your own press clippings is that it distorts your perspective. You overestimate your own popularity, capabilities, and value, which leads to hubris and overreach. And you also underestimate your opponent. In Hollywood, it’s why so many celebs crash and burn. On Wall Street, it’s why so many corporations botch acquisitions, misjudge verticals, and lose money on mergers. And in politics, it’s why the Democrats can’t resist scaring the [expletive] out of the voters. Because it’s late October, and the Democrats are struggling yet again. They’re gassed. Even in bright blue states such as Michigan, Minnesota, Maine, and New Hampshire, the Republican Senate candidate is either winning outright or within the margin of error. There’s a very real risk the Dems could lose all four elections! The Democrats had a glide path to victory: Don’t be controversial. Don’t interject divisive issues. No trans or wokeisms. Make the election a litmus test on Donald Trump. The last one was the motherlode. The Democrats already had all the leftists, party loyalists, DSA acolytes, and Trump-haters in their pocket, but if they could position themselves as a vehicle to “send D.C. a message,” they’d gain all the dissatisfied independents, too. Including those who disagreed with the Democrats’ policies. Hey, it’s how MAGA ran the table in 2024: Not everyone who voted for Trump supported his platform, either. Plenty voted Republican because Joe Biden’s senility, DNC corruption, and Kamala Harris’ weirdness repulsed them. The voters wanted a change; Trump was it. He was the “send D.C. a message” candidate. The Democrats keep fading down the stretch because they really, truly believe their own press clippings. After all, their friends in the media keep telling them the same thing: Trump is awful, everyone hates him, the future belongs to the donkeys. Then they see the September polls: Why, they’re cruising to victory, winning in a cakewalk. It’s not even close! (No wonder they trust the polls: Not only do they say really nice things about the Dems, but they actually PAID for a lot of ‘em!) So the candidates see the polls and are emboldened. That’s problematic, but a disciplined candidate should still be able to stick to a script. (Mostly.) The bigger problem is that the activists are emboldened, too. They count their chickens before they’re hatched, demanding a wish-list of left-wing policies, revenge fantasies, and political grievances — i.e. packing the Supreme Court, impeaching the president, jailing Republicans, disbanding ICE, banning billionaires, and killing the AI industry. Historically, left-wing activists have damaged the Democratic brand more than ANYTHING Donald Trump has EVER done. They’re the GOP’s best friends. Fast forward to 2026: Once again, the Dems dominated the month of September. (As well as August: Over the past eight years, about 70% of August polls have overestimated support for Democrats.) Once again, the Democrats have swallowed the hype. And once again, the activists have gotten greedy. Because of the media’s focus, left-wing rhetoric, and activist overreach, the public face of the 2026 midterms isn’t Donald Trump anymore. It certainly was in August and September, but we’re now in late October. The public face of the 2026 midterms is now Abdul El-Sayed and Rep. Ilhan Omar Ilhan Nur Said Elmi (D-Minn.) El-Sayed simply can’t resist detonating rhetorical landmines. He has the self-restraint of a Charlie Sheen on a bender — and is terrifying normie Americans. The more media attention he absorbs, the worse it is for the rest of the Democratic Party. Trouble is, he’s about to absorb even more: He’s attending a campaign rally Saturday with Barack Obama. And Omar’s “not to my knowledge” gaffe when quizzed about the possibility she married her brother (!) was a gift from the political gods. It’s the perfect PR storm because her scandal has everything: outrageous allegations, easily understood plot lines, sexual depravity, and an utterly absurd defense. You don’t have to be a political junkie to snort in derision. All you need is a sibling. Plus, it also shines a spotlight on pro-MAGA talking points about the exploitation of the U.S. immigration process, institutional corruption, and how far-left loons hijacked the Democratic Party. This ain’t your daddy’s DNC no mo’. Even if you wanted to send Trump a message, there’s just no way you’d trust a party that gives Abdul El-Sayed and Ilhan Omar a seat at the wheel. It’s not even an option! Between the Muslim Brotherhood and Muslims marrying brothers, the Democrats are too bizarre. Too un-American. Too far outside the mainstream. Once again, they made their own extremism the biggest story of the campaign. And once again, they timed their collapse for the closing days of the election. It was the one thing they couldn’t do. And now they’ve done it. That’s what happens when Election Day is in November — and not September. pjmedia.com/scott-pinsker/20…
"Not to my knowledge." Rep. Ilhan Omar gives that response when asked directly whether she is related to her former husband during an MS NOW interview addressing long-standing allegations that she married her brother. Omar says the claims originated from a Somali blog, while FOX News' @kevincorke questions her choice of words, asking why she didn't give a more definitive denial. Omar had not been seen publicly since the reported raid on her Washington, D.C., home before appearing for the interview. Let’s go through the peace deals Zelenskyy rejected. • Istanbul agreement, 2022 Ukraine needed to refuse NATO accession, reduce the army, Russia would withdraw from the Kyiv reg., possibly from the Kharkiv, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions. At that point the scale of destruction was still limited and the number of dead was far lower. In April 2022 Zelenskyy declined the deal. • End of 2022 Russian forces withdrew from part of the Kherson region. Zelenskyy traveled to meet Biden and, acc. to my sources, later confirmed by Mr. Blinken in the New York Times, persuaded the WH to continue the war. The precise terms of any proposed deal remain unknown, but sources indicate there was readiness to declare at least a ceasefire. • Beginning of 2023 Through unofficial channels between the United States and Russia, an understanding took shape: Putin agreed to withdraw to the borders that existed before the full-scale invasion—freeing nearly everything conquered that year—in exchange for Ukraine’s refusal of NATO accession and recognition of Crimea as Russian. Zelenskyy and Yermak refused. Since then nearly a million people have been killed or wounded, several million have become refugees, parts of the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions have been occupied, more of Zaporizhzhia has been taken, Kherson lies in ruins, the Chernihiv and Sumy regions face constant shelling, Kyiv itself has become almost a front-line city, the energy system has been destroyed, businesses cannot operate, exports have stalled, and the country is degrading. • July 2024 An arrangement that began with an energy ceasefire, modeled on the Istanbul understandings and mediated through the Middle East. While negotiations were under way, Zelenskyy also planned the Kursk operation, which ultimately disrupted all the arrangements. • March 2025 After the Oval Office clash between Trump and Zelenskyy, European leaders gathered in London in early March. The British government stated that a number of options were on the table and that Ukraine had to choose. As always, nothing came of it. Whether Putin was prepared each time to implement any agreements remains unknown, yet on several occasions he carried out what he had promised. Does this remove his responsibility for the deaths, the horrors, and the destruction in Ukraine? No. But the country is degrading, the state apparatus is degrading, and corruption finishes what Putin’s missiles, drones, and bombs did not destroy. Inhumanity has effectively become a state strategy and a national ideology promoted at every turn. Ukraine simply cannot win this way—there are neither economic, nor demographic, nor any other grounds for it. Therefore, if Zelenskyy does not agree to a deal with realistic terms now, Ukraine will be forced to capitulate. And that is deeply alarming, because it can actually cost the country its independence and sovereignty.

Elon Musk exposed Zelensky, the whole Ukrainian military, and every American politician who accused him of impeding AFU operations by throttling Starlink as the shameless liars that they are. He also confirms that Ukrainians remain the most ungrateful vassal that the US has ever had. Elon shows contempt for the warmongers, but he also holds the key to stopping this war, the key he refuses to use.

🇫🇷 A French politician poses for photos with MASKED RIOTERS just minutes before they TRASH a bank in Grenoble. And the man in the pictures? He's in charge of the city's FINANCE commission. Allan Brunon, an elected official from the far-left LFI party, smiles for the camera alongside black bloc-style protesters. Just minutes later, some of those demonstrators allegedly ransacked a Crédit Agricole branch. Seriously, a city finance official posing with masked protesters while banks are getting smashed up?

I confirm the 2023 peace-treaty plan that was leaked to the FT. What the draft envisaged: - Russia withdraws its troops from most of the four oblasts it had just declared “annexed.” - The new line of demarcation runs roughly along the line as of February 24, 2022: Crimea and the part of Donbas that Russia controlled before the full-scale invasion. - Ukraine recognizes Russian control over Crimea. - Ukraine grants Russia an unobstructed land corridor to Crimea. - The ceasefire regime is guaranteed by NATO countries that provide protection for Ukraine. - Russia begins negotiations with the US on its own security guarantees. From my side, I’ll add a few insider details that few people know about. The plan was discussed NOT ONLY by Rodnyansky: the key figure was ABRAMOVICH. Moreover, Russia was ready to give up the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant as well. And the 300 billion in frozen assets was to go toward rebuilding all of Ukraine, that is, together with the occupied territories. As for Crimea: we were not required to recognize it as Russian, only to recognize Russia’s control over it. In other words, we acknowledge that right now it is under Russian control (which is how it is). We were also required to adopt a law banning the return of Crimea by military means. The land corridor to Crimea, a highway and a railway, was to be built at Russia’s expense. The hardest question was how to guard it. That is why the Russians were ready to give up Melitopol, but not Tokmak: they feared we would cut the corridor with artillery. Zelensky rejected this proposal at the time.

🔴Iran updated analysis, October 25 I feel like Trump is inducing an internal coup in Iran: the regime’s technocrats against the IRGC. Lest we forget, President Pezeshkian is literally a heart surgeon! Look at Tom Barrack’s comments the other day, he said ther regime itself is just religious, not inherently "evil," and that the only problem is the IRGC. That distinction was telling. After Khamenei’s death, the top IRGC brass effectively took over everything, and the technocrats alone were too weak to challenge them. But with outside backing, those technocrats and the national military might finally have the leverage to stage a coup, take the government back, and put things right. Remember: the IRGC was empowered specifically to protect the regime and more importantly Khamenei himself, while the traditional national military (Artesh) was intentionally weakened. While the IRGC is thoroughly vetted and loyal at the top, you can still find potential defectors within Artesh, as its screening process was not as rigid. Furthermore, the IRGC survived on looted oil revenues, but that lifeline is now practically cut off by legendary @SecScottBessent . Without that cash flow, the lower ranks have zero incentive to fight to the death, especially if @realDonaldTrump or external intelligence reveals that Mojtaba is dead (or better yet, was dead all along, and the top brass lied to manipulate them). That sense of ultimate betrayal could shatter their willingness to resist. As for their only external backer, Russia, it's clear Moscow won't risk its overarching Ukraine deal just to bail out this collapsing regime. On top of that, the US has reportedly warned the Iraqi government to keep the PMF (the regime's proxies) on a tight leash and prevent them from coming to the rescue in the event of a conflict. We saw this playbook in Syria: once financial and military aid ( from Hezbollah and Russia) dried up, Assad fled, and his technocrat Prime Minister handed over the government. So, I’m waiting for a targeted "peeling back" of the IRGC leadership, mid-ranks, and even lower echelons, accompanied by the systematic destruction of IRGC bases (both inside and outside the cities). All of this will likely go down at "Hour Zero" to leave them zero time to react, which explains the massive concentration of forces currently in the region. Given how vast Iran is, total dominance at "Hour Zero" requires more than just U.S. bases in the south. With Washington's recent diplomatic outreach and deepening ties in the region, countries like Azerbaijan, nations in Central Asia (like Uzbakistan), and Iraq are likely to grant airspace access. Over the past few months, every single time the regime tried to repair its air defense or radar systems, they were promptly destroyed again (that’s precisely what those sporadic strikes were all about). Right now, the IRGC is effectively blind and defenseless. The fallout from the previous conflict and the widening rift between the IRGC and the government needed time to become crystal clear. Notice how Ghalibaf (who used to be the pivotal figure back during the MoU days) is completely sidelined from negotiations now. Ghalibaf was always an IRGC security man; today, U.S. overtures and proposals are directed squarely at Pezeshkian. I expect the next war to be short. Strike and then wait for the dust to settle to fully measure the impact, and then again if necessary. Next comes returning to the table and handing over the nuclear program. Once the regime is disarmed and defanged, the path will finally be clear for the Iranians to finish the revolution they started in January 8 and 9. As for the timing, the major carrier strike groups haven't arrived yet; they are still on their way, pointing to a move likely right after the midterms. Until that day, President Trump will keep the IRGC in a state of constant, exhausting panic, wearing them down day by day with endless threats and mixed signals. I’m not saying this is bound to happen, war is full of unpredictable variables that can change the course at any moment. But as someone who knows the regime well, I believe this trajectory is entirely plausible, and everything is aligning for it. Iran will be free, sooner than you think! #JavidShah‌‌‌‌‌
