The 90’s are calling.

A useful discovery for anyone working with CAD floor plans: Canva's free version of Affinity (affinity.studio/) can import DWG files and let you manipulate the drawing in the vector editor. It's a useful addition to your wireless design toolkit! #WiFi #WirelessWednesday

Have you ever wanted Wireshark to display the Channel Utilization value from a QBSS Load element as a percentage instead of the raw 0–255 value? Now you can. Code and instructions are here: github.com/scottm32768/qbss-… #wireshark #WiFi #ThePacketsNeverLie

Am I the only one who gets Solaris (the Russian movie) vibes from some of the scenes in Star City? Especially the organ piece at the end of episode 6. Wow…

The @ubiquiti U7 Mesh has an interesting pair of 5GHz antenna patterns optimized to allow it to act as a remote mesh node with an uplink to a remote AP and still have an omni antenna for client access.

We are going live with @Ubiquiti at #MFD14 to hear about their latest updates. Tune in to stay in the loop! youtube.com/live/x169lgGBnmE

Great 6GHz reference slide from @PeterMackenzie being used at #MFD14 in the @HPE presentation.

Interesting statistics regarding Wi-Fi 7 and 6 GHz usage from @HPE_Networking at #MFD14.

#MFD14 is live with HPE right now talking about all the latest and greatest including new hardware like the AP-723H that is dual platform!

So, we are going to calculate moon pi? 🤔

I like this analogy for CWNA vs vendor certs, “It's pressing the buttons in a factory machine vs programming a CNC.”

I see a lot of people complaining about air travel here. I think there’s a lot of good experiences that get overlooked and I don’t think that’s fair. There was a mechanical issue that greatly delayed my travel home over the weekend. The @united staff did their best to fix things within the constraints of a small airport. They were friendly, helpful, and resourceful. I want to specifically call out, Chris, our gate agent at YQR. His knowledge and experience within the United system was critical for solving some complex travel plans. Mine was simple compared to most of the others, but I overheard a lot of what he was doing and was impressed. It was a long day for all, but he helped make it less stressful. I tip my tuque to the whole YQR team. Well done!

Is this the new Will Smith eating spaghetti test?

This includes Ekahau. Probably doesn’t mean anything changes in the near future, but it’ll be interesting to see where this goes. What do you think this means?

CCNP Wireless is returning and I think that’s great! CCIE Wireless is also getting updated with Meraki and the latest Wi-Fi standards. #cisco #wifi learningnetwork.cisco.com/s/…

I spy @ExtremeNetworks Wi-Fi. Nicely skinned, too. #ISpeakRF
