you should be rooting for variational's success if you want any other perp dex to have a successful TGE and airdrop after it

Everyone keeps saying that this means the war is going to resume tomorrow (Sunday). Here’s the thing, Israel’s election is on Tuesday, so I bet that nothing happens tomorrow and Monday afternoon is when things get spicy.

BREAKING: Trump says US is considering resuming the war with Iran as soon as tomorrow.
"We're thinking about doing it, it may be tomorrow," Trump said minutes ago.

i think i can pretty confidently say that $VAR won't launch below $1.5B FDV
which already puts one point somewhere around $43-50
and for most people that's already a cook (myself included)
however, i think what happens between now and TGE could make that valuation look conservative
variational specifically mentioned "major strategic partnerships" (means multiple) that could redefine its trajectory
that's the part of the announcement i'd pay the most attention to
lucas previously worked at Goldman Sachs, so he has a background in TradFi
could we see partnerships with some of the biggest institutional market makers? or maybe even a major exchange?
obviously just speculation, but i doubt the team would push back TGE unless they believed these partnerships were worth the delay
and with Omni Pro and the Trading API still on the way, there's a lot more to look forward to than just the token launch
keep in mind variational isn't your average "farm the airdrop and f*ck off" protocol
i think people are focusing too much on what $VAR could be worth under current circumstances and not enough on how much those circumstances could change before TGE

Pretty much everyone on CT that isn’t friends with Flood liked this comment
All his friends are now posting “Who does CT think they are to attack him based on his looks? CT is UGLY!”
Since I’m not his friend or simping for his money, I’ll tell it to you straight:
It’s not actually about his looks
It’s about the way he treats others
For years, the main part of his persona has been “who you are is based on what you have, and I have a lot of things you never will”
I have said it once, and I’ll say it again: who you are is NOT what you have, but how you treat others
He’s consistently treated others poorly, and that’s why they’re all attacking him

This is how banks are planning to stop those "agentic bank runs." Watch closely: their business model depends on seeding this narrative that AI agents are dangerous.
Remember, an "agentic bank run" (coined by Apollo) means agents helping customers move their own money en masse to higher-yielding products.
Once agents are ubiquitous, there are only a few ways for banks to hold onto cheap retail deposits.
Option A: Raise APYs (lol no)
Option B: Reduce leverage via fewer loans (no fun)
Option C: Ban AI agents, claiming they are a security risk (ding ding ding)
Cloud agents like Muse and Dot are trivial to stop, since they come from Meta / OAI IP ranges. If JPM sends them a cease and desist, they will comply.
Why would JPM bother? Because their business model depends on it; a huge portion of their ROE comes from cheap retail deposits. This is not theoretical. Just like Amazon banned Muse from shopping there to protect their ad revenue, JPM and Schwab have already banned AI agents to protect sticky deposits.
Are agents perfectly reliable today? Of course not. But look at the fix they chose. Not "here's a safe API for agents," it's "no agents ever." That tells you they're not protecting customers, they're protecting themselves.
No company ever wins a technological revolution this way. It's the last gasp of a dying business model. It's like the retailers who refused to put their inventory online and demanded users walk into the storefront. Over time they will lose market share to those platforms that embrace what's coming. Their whole deposit franchise depends on users unthinkingly clicking through walls of T&Cs and accepting 0.2% when the risk free rate is closer to 4%. Agents read the fine print and do their research, even when humans don't.
For users, the answer is simple: local AI agent frameworks like Hermes, that will actually act on your behalf and that the banks can't block. As the article says, if the agent is running on your own computer, they can't actually tell it's not you.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.

🚨 BREAKING : Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan caught using COMPANY MONEY for Private Jets flights.
Peter Thiel caught him red-handed using his investment money as a personal wallet.
Founders Fund, Peter Thiel's fund, discovered that Shayne had charged the following as company expenses :
- private jet flights
- apartment rent
- designer clothes
They immediately demanded a FULL REFUND
Shayne was forced to reimburse the money.
ICE and Founders Fund then teamed up to push for stronger financial controls
They were the one that forced Shayne to appoint a COO.
You remember Shayne's ChatGPT written tweet gleefully announcing the hiring of Collin McKinney Hill as COO ?
I called it extremely suspicious at the time. Turns out i was right, investors basically forced Shayne to hire him as a soft coup.
I don't know how long Shayne can stay in place when their main investors have lost confidence.

Vs other pts programs, consider that Variational had a much more strict points program, wash tradoors got raped on pre pts distro as well as following distros and rewarded organic behavior, no pts to api vol farmers.
No under the rug mm deal like Lighter, which led to non stop dumping, also no Justin Sun allo. No mms in general getting pts purely to dump.
Better mkt conditions now with Hype + Lit proving their pmf, I still think both have heavy upside. Var will follow and people are genuinely clueless to what the greater vision is (universal prime broker) and still treat it as another perp dex or run of the mill hl competitor when it is something entirely different.
All while basically non of the biggest catalysts have taken place. Insane amounts of growth to come.
Jeet at tge if you wish. Might as well short too.
