As I report here ... - Stevens told numerous high profile Dems last night she was voting for AES - staff was literally waiting at the unity rally thinking she was about to arrive - even key Dems who are similarly skeptical of AES are baffled and aghast talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog…

This is just not accurate, at all. This was Haley's statement FROM LAST NIGHT: “I was glad to see our senate nominee say he does not agree with the content of the vile Rebellion PAC ad which claimed Israel and Jews were to blame for the high costs of groceries.” Abdul isn't perfect and has his flaws, but the sheer amount of misinformation about him, his views, and his comments that's been amplified by people who should know better has truly shocked me.
Stevens promptly endorsed El-Sayed after the primary, campaigned for him and is endorsing the rest of the Democratic ticket. Hardly a sore loser. Stevens took a principled stand asking El-Sayed to condemn an ad blaming Israel for rising grocery prices. He refused.

I WOULDN’T, EVER! I’ve been working for candidates whose names are lesser known around the Country and in Texas… I’m still not sure why that’s angered so many people, but I’m praying @thefirepac has a great night because it’ll mean our state and country have some amazing years to look forward to.

I put together what Haley Stevens previously said about Mike Rogers and it makes me wonder does she really believe in anything?

El-Sayed: At the end of the day, I actually don't think about Haley Stevens. Because you know what? I'm just less interested in the politics of it all than I am in the policy of it all… If you are somebody who believes that we should stand up to hate, and you have watched this last campaign, I think we probably would not want to support Mike Rogers and Donald Trump and JD Vance. If you're somebody who believes that we need more health care, not less than you probably don't want to vote for the guy who voted to raise prescription drug prices or keep them high 19 times and takes money from big pharma and big insurance. If you're somebody who believes in public education, you probably do not want to support the guy who architected the initial legislation in 1999 that ended up stripping local control from Detroit public schools and the local community. If you're somebody who believes that you should have a right to a union, you probably don't want to support the guy who busts unions. So I'm just saying that the principles that we believe in as Democrats are really quite clear. I stand for all of them.

MI Dem Party Chair
Congresswoman Stevens is not a current member of the Michigan Democratic Party, nor will she be in the future.

From now on, I do not want to hear ANY MORE “Progressives are ratfucking Dems” EVER AGAIN. People like Francesca Hong and Tom Steyer have backed the more moderate Dem nominee in their own races. Meanwhile Haley Stevens is out campaigning with Mike Rogers just TWO DAYS before the election

I ask Rep. Haley Stevens, how can you support a candidate who stands in direct opposition to what you stand for? “Nothing is perfect,” Stevens says before a heckler yells, “Stevens is a traitor,” which ended the press scrum.

A member of Perfecting Church, John Gardner, told me he’s disappointed he supported Haley Stevens in the primary. “Did she call Obama before doing this? She used him in all those ads… This is career suicide.”

Again this narrative is completely fake. There is no “cracks in their coalition”. El-Sayed is polling at 95% with Michigan Democrats, higher than Jocelyn Benson (91%) and higher than Rogers is with Republicans (91%). This is a fringe AIPAC hissy fit 100% astroturfed by GOP donors
NEW: Michigan isn’t going to settle Dems’ civil war. Dems here warn the cracks in their coalition will outlast #MISEN — and create some real challenges for 2028ers in this early state. “Our diversity is important. But with that, it’s going to take a lot of work” @politico politico.com/news/2026/10/31…
