riffing on half formed & often strange ideas with great ppl is one of my absolute favorite things to do. & you know it’s magical when you arrive at a destination that neither of you could’ve arrived on your own. like a kind of improve if you will.

I’ll tell you one ground reality about $PLTR. This TCV nitpicking or whatever else doesn’t matter. They’re growing at a steady pace of around 100%, with so much demand they can’t even meet it. If they wanted to take shortcuts like many others do, they could push far beyond what anyone can imagine. This story is far from over. They have so many levers they have yet to pull and can pull whenever they want. It’s still early.

Architect @PalantirTech on Sovereign AI - “In conversations with executives, I heard a clear desire to own their intelligence and make it compound. That takes people who know the work and a platform that helps them express that knowledge and put it to use. The model should be in service of you, helping you compound what you know and can do, not the other way around.” $PLTR
Last week at Palantir’s Sovereignty AI Bootcamp, I presented on the architecture behind Palantir AIP. Working on consequential workflows in the field has shown me that sovereignty spans the stack. It’s not just the model. It’s your data, compute techniques, the actions you can take, your people’s tribal knowledge, and the ontology that ties it together. In conversations with executives, I heard a clear desire to own their intelligence and make it compound. That takes people who know the work and a platform that helps them express that knowledge and put it to use. The model should be in service of you, helping you compound what you know and can do, not the other way around. $PLTR

Extraordinary people without extraordinary work are a waste of potential. Better to be dumb and maximized than smart and leaving meat on the bone. The trouble is you don’t know which you are until you truly give it your all. So for no other reason than curiosity, it’s worth seeing the violence you’re truly capable of when you burn the boats and go all in.

i love that someone can give years of their life to a piece of software and leave its source to strangers, as if to say: what i have learned is yours; may you go further than i ever could. i would gladly spend my years in that kind of devotion, leaving something of myself in the things i build, that they might be of use to someone i shall never know.

THE SOVEREIGN AI REVOLUTION IS IN FULL FORCE. We are helping our customers build superintelligence they own, with data they control. McCarthy Building fine-tuned Nemotron in Foundry on labeled RFI data in the Ontology to identify project risks before they escalate, outperforming frontier models at significantly lower cost. Tampa General is using sovereign AI to better protect patient data, keeping sensitive data and model processing local, and fine-tuning Nemotron models to classify LLM traffic against its own risk and privacy standards. NVIDIA is using Palantir AIP and Nemotron to accelerate its own supply chain, shortening the path from wafer to deployment, spotting disruptions before they hit production, and keeping its models under its control. L3Harris is bringing AI workflows in-house and building its own models trained on proprietary data to support critical defense use cases and the warfighter. Ondas is launching Regna AI on Palantir AIP, leveraging open-weight models including NVIDIA Nemotron, to help customers adapt, evaluate, and deploy mission-specialized AI while retaining control of their data, models, and infrastructure.

$PLTR A Conversation with a Palantir FDE and Senior Architect | TSW 2026 🦄 Oct 20, 2026 Thomas Lah, Executive Director and EVP of TSIA, sits down with Siddhant Ekale of Palantir, for "A Conversation with a Palantir FDE and Senior Architect" at Technology & Services World 2026. Forward deployed engineers (FDEs) are the newest piece on the services chessboard. Companies across the technology industry are racing to build the capability, but few have seen how it actually works from the inside. In this main stage fireside chat, TSIA's Thomas Lah sits down with Palantir's Siddhant Ekale. Together they walk through the full sales motion: delivering value before a contract is signed, building pilots that go straight into production, and expanding from a first use case to scale across the enterprise. @sidekale 🦾🔮🦄🔥 youtu.be/GXH93BN9YUU?si=AZsI…

the silliest way to lose a lot of money in 2026 is to hold onto stupid priors for dear life the second silliest is to make “safe” bets behind prestige vs. first principles evaluation of tech/business. if a company has fancy pedigree but is just losing…don’t fight the tape

We started Arda in 2025 to speed up American manufacturing. We have spent the last year building with Anduril as our design partner. Today we are launching the company publicly on CNBC and announcing our Series A: $160M at a $1.5B valuation. Our platform helps manufacturers design and operate manual assembly lines, putting designs into production faster now. Next we'll build automated lines that can be reconfigured as quickly as human workers, letting America make products that now require armies of workers in Asia.

Be extremely intentional with your friendships — not acquaintances, not business partners, actual friends Try to pick high-integrity people — the right people Invest time in those relationships Cut or downgrade folks who are transactional or who don’t show up for you Reallocate that time and energy to the right people who do It's ok to be cutthroat about this, as life is the memories you create with your friends and family. Invest in making moments.

The smartest Indians continue to come to build in the US for the simple reason that the economic incentives are far far better. Perplexity ($20B), Skild ($14B+), Baseten ($13B), Together ($8B), Glean ($8B), Modal ($5B), Rubrik ($25B), Harness ($5B), Blacksmith, Parallel, Greptile, CodeRabbit, Composio, Distyl ($2B), Resolve, Luma, Cartesia, Wispr, dMatrix, Arize and many more - all started by at least one Indian-born founder. The US is a far easier to raise capital in with far less dilution. Most Indian companies are switching where they're domiciled to get access to the US capital markets. Every single Indian venture firm is trying very hard to invest in the US or risk not participating in the AI race (ironically, the management fees of venture firms are so high in India relatively that this is the one group that net of carry actually has incentive to be in India because they take home well north of a living wage whether or not funds perform do) While Zomato ($35B now, $8B at IPO) might be the biggest outcome in Indian venture, Cursor ($60B), Reflection (potentially $20B+), World Labs ($8B), OpenRouter ($8B), HuggingFace ($12B) and of course the $1T+ big labs quickly make those outcomes seem small and happen on a much smaller time scale, with much higher IRR. Engineers at these startups regularly get paid $1M/yr, and make $10M+ on exit. Even in BigTech, it is trivial to pull up levels fyi and see that if you're L6/L7+ with ~10 years of experience, you're making $1M/yr there too. And of course, we all know the slew of Indian CEOs of companies here, not to mention a huge bench of lesser known executives across the board in public and private companies. I say all this because every time there is a slight immigration hiccup in the US, I hear the online pleas to "build in India", I struggle to understand why most engineers, academics or founders would do that net of desire to be close to family, failure to obtain visa and devout patriotism. This is not a superiority thing or a US v India thing. The economic incentives at least for technologists to being in the US outweigh India by at least an order of magnitude.
