totally agree, nobody wants to port everything. we’re working on running x86 apps on LiberNT RISC-V with @felix86_emu, so hopefully most of them won’t need to be ported !
Yes, that’s PhotoCraft’s Windows 11 ARM64 build running natively on LiberNT OS 🎨🔥
Running entirely via llvmpipe right now (GPU support isn't validated yet), but performance is already looking surprisingly promising.
Another RISC-V board joins LiberNT OS: the Orange Pi RV (JH7110) 🎉🎉
Confirmed working drivers so far:
✅ USB 3.0
✅ PMIC
✅ 1Gb Ethernet
✅ SD card
Officially shipping in the next release, with major app compatibility improvements and global kernel fixes.
Follow-up on LiberNT for riscv64 (BBPI-F3/SpacemiT K1):
A first set of drivers is already published in thr git and close to finished.
Currently under testing:
• Audio
• Ethernet
• SD host controllers
• USB 3.0 / DWC3 xHCI
Soon will publish the first tested build👌
LiberNT now runs on RISC-V 🎉
Ported to riscv64 and running on the Banana Pi BPI-F3 (SpacemiT K1) with SMP support already
The first NT-compatible OS on riscv64. Windows has no public ABI for this architecture, so we wrote our own. And it works.
Construction complete ✅
Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge that is a i386 architecture is now running smooth on our LiberNT OS through FEX + Wine WOW64 with custom patches, sound and all.

PowerPC support for ReactOS fork is coming soon. 👀
A new experimental custom build is being brought up on PowerPC, another architecture pushing ReactOS beyond x86/x64, ARM64 and RISC-V64.
And yes… RISC-V is coming soon too.
⚠️ This is an experimental custom build and is not an official upstream ReactOS.
More details soon.
Yeah massive milestone!
FEX is now enabling ReactOS to run x64 Windows games directly on ARM64 hardware!
another bit of hardware just joined the party.
ReactOS is now running on Raspberry PI 3 with a custom Ethernet and wifi drivers.
none of this would be possible without the work of Andrei Warkentin who ported EUFI support to this board so big thanks to him

I’ve been testing something similar for ReactOS or ARM64 in a separate branch, and it’s already proving really useful !!
During his ARM64 experiments, our contributor @sidihmeed found a number of bugs in our Win32 subsystem. In last month, he committed 16 PRs to #ReactOS; eliminating a GUI stall, fixing some API tests and improving general stability a little bit ;)
It’s been a lot of quiet hours behind the scenes, but I'm glad to finally share some solid progress on Raspberry Pi 5 support for ReactOS and WoA.
I’ve officially matched ABI parity of ROS at the NT10 level (at least for the network stack), and the Ethernet driver is completely built and proven working on Windows 11. There is still some work to be done to achieve stable throughput, but hitting this first functional milestone proves the core implementation. The RPi5 UEFI work is also fully finished and will be published soon.
A few glimpses of it in action below:
