What an amazing launch from our portfolio company!
Your AI works fast. You're still working late. We just shipped Supernova, the new Awesomic. Agents, your team and vetted experts work on the same project, on a real cloud machine. Here's what's under the hood 🧵

Another analysis gem from @michuk, and guess who made it into the top 5? Bullish on the CEE ecosystem 📈
Guess which CEE VC fund backed the most CEE YC teams? @YCombinator directory lists 30 startups from Central & Eastern Europe. I counted 155 (with the help of my agent). The difference: YC tags companies by HQ, and most CEE founders move to California. 100 of the 155 are based in the US. @gitlab , @PeoplePlusAI, @gowithquo, @browser_use: all "American" by that measure. So I went through all 6,267 YC companies founder by founder, then checked 260 CEE funds' portfolios and every funding announcement we could find. A few things that surprised me: 🇺🇦 Ukraine (37) narrowly leads 🇵🇱 Poland (34), but 2026 was Poland's best year ever 🇸🇮 Per head, Slovenia is in a league of its own 📈 The count grows every few years, but CEE's share of each batch has been flat at 2–3% for a decade 💸 Only 53 of the 155 have a CEE fund among their known investors. @pioneer_fund, @RebelFund_VC and @svangel back more of them than almost any CEE VC. Full write-up, with all the charts, the fund ranking and the method: michuk.medium.com/the-hidden… Did I miss your company, or your fund? Tell me in comments. I'll update the data.

Who's running consumer AI? These 50 names, per @a16z research! Congrats to the Ukrainian teams on making the list: @zeely_ai and @reface_app, as well @Superhuman (ex Grammarly).

A new era for GTM and AI powered sales 🔥
We spent 3 years building AI for sales. The same problem kept showing up: Wrong buyer. Wrong offer. AI helping people fail faster. Today we're launching Ami to fix that. Give it your website. Ami figures out who to target, why they'd care, and how to reach them. You approve the plan. Ami launches the campaign. Then it watches what happens. If something isn't working, it changes course or stops. If it works, it scales. When you close a deal, it finds more prospects like that customer. And it carries what it learns into the next campaign. Powered by and possible thanks to GPT-6 Astra. Built on lessons from 17,000+ outbound campaigns. I'm a 2x YC founder, and I'm betting my company on this: A small business should be able to figure out sales without hiring a $100k consultant. @Replit and @Lovable made building accessible. We're building Ami to do the same for getting customers. Try it with your website: aisdr.com/ai-gtm-agent-ami/

New report by Carta: startups hire to build, not build to hire, slimming headcount and increasing comps.

Software needs good human orchestration to be a productivity boost instead of a bottomless revenue pit.
"Humans are cheaper than tokens on average, but good tokens are cheaper at scale." For median firms, agent costs sit near $80/hour, roughly in line with a software engineer. But at the tails, an agent can cost $4/hour or $7,000/hour depending on how it's managed. Hebbia CEO George Sivulka on why 100X tokens are the new 10X engineers: a16z.news/p/the-next-ai-gold…

Rooting for it!
Mercor will be a $1T company by 2030

Entering top-tier seed deals is no longer a question of scouting and personal access, but also capital — as AI investments soar, startups are doing extremely huge rounds very early.

One of our portfolio companies, @sepal_ai, was acquired by @mercor earlier this year. Mercor just reported $1M → $2B ARR in 24 months. One of the craziest revenue growth trajectories in history! Excited to be part of this journey now.
Mercor grew from $1M to $2B in ARR in 24 months. This is the fastest growth trajectory in history. While everyone knows about AI lab investments in the Task Economy, our fastest-growing segment is Enterprise.

Benchmark's @EverettRandle frames this perfectly: tokens measure AI usage. Tasks — expert-graded, real-world work used to train and improve models — are becoming the measure of AI improvement. He calls it the "Task Economy," and argues it could be a $1T category. We agree.

Yes, it not just you noticing it — data proves syndicates are getting more expensive. New report from @sydecario shows SPV managers aren't replacing carry — they're stacking it with a management fee.

Not uniform across the board. Larger raises: more likely to charge both fees. Smaller/early deals: more likely to waive one or both to build a track record.

AI is not a bubble, and is backed by real consumer and enterprise demand. Exciting times for founders who build in this space.
The GenAI economy has generated $110 billion in sales over the past 12 months. It is growing fast. On an annualized basis, the revenue run rate exceeds $175 billion. These numbers took us several months to construct, and as far as we know, it’s the first bottom-up, deduplicated measure of consumer and enterprise AI spending across the full stack. We are releasing this research today in our first The State of the AI Economy report. intelligence.exponentialview…
