I used to live a few miles down the shore from the 1933 World’s Fair Century of Progress homes. I was able to tour four of the properties in 2017. They are a fascinating treasure. It is wonderful to see these decades-long projects nearing completion.

As a child I took a brief, deeply traumatizing helicopter ride with my family at an air show. It was my father’s idea. My mother made me promise to never ride one again.

Two helicopters operated by Fishtail Air and Air Dynasty collided while attempting to land at Pheriche in Nepal’s Everest region
One foreign passenger was killed and another person injured. The crash occurred around 8:15 AM (local time)
The cause is under investigation.
