@JoeyMcGuireTTU RUN IT UP!! We got no choice left, have to bury everyone left on the sched to have a shot at CFP.
ESPN Insights reporting on the ESPN controlled CFP using ESPN proprietary metrics to push a narrative supporting an ESPN affiliated conference.
North Korea level shit going on in CFB.
Utah beating BYU helps Tech make CCG but guarantees nothing for CFP. Lose that game and theyβll get dropped from playoffs, bookmark it.
Biggest game for Ε¦ this wknd is ND/Mia. ND win locks up a CFP spot and reduces opportunity for a non-SEC team to get in.

I asked CFP Chairman Hunter Yurachek why Texas Tech was ranked at No. 15 behind teams such as LSU, despite having more ranked wins, here is what Yurachek said:
βI think you have to really lean on the loss that they had at Cincinnati two weeks ago. For that reason, LSU has a loss against Kentucky, whoβs ranked sixth in our poll, and then lost to Ole Miss, whoβs ranked 10th in our poll. And LSUβs look good, and in the games that they have won, they have dominated those games against some really stiff competition within the SEC, and then that season opening win that they had against Clemson.β
@RedRaiderSports
Yeah, theyβre definitely putting crack in this Yurachek guyβs jello.

βFocus on the winsββ¦the new mantra from the SEC shills.
OK.
LSU best wins: Clem & A&M
Tech best wins: UH & AZ
SP+ for each
AZ 21
UH 26
A&M 37
Clem 54
@BudElliott3 explain to me how LSU is ranked ahead of Tech in the CFP without using any bullshit ESPN biased metrics, please.

Focus on the wins not the losses. Stop loss counting. Thatβs what gets us into this scared scheduling in the first place.

I've always said we should judge teams by the quality of who they've played, not where they sit in a poll.
So I built a college basketball-style quintiles sheet for the first CFP top 25, showing record vs opponents based on quality bands in FEI.
Best top-30 records: Kentucky (4-1) is best. Alabama (3-2), Texas (3-1), Ole Miss (3-1) and Oregon (3-1) come next.
Thin top-30 records near the top: Miami is 1-0, Utah 1-0 and Notre Dame 1-1.
Never beaten a top-30 team: Houston (0-2), Arizona (0-2) and Boise State (0-1).
Losing records against the top 30: Tennessee (1-2), LSU (1-2) and Florida (2-3).
While I struggle to understand Bama *that* high, this at least explains it a tad bit, if the CFP committee couldn't get past Bama's H2H win vs Kentucky.
What are your thoughts?
Tell me again how thereβs no bias in the ESPN controlled CFP. Remind me how the secret metrics donβt work against the Big12 and others.
TX Tech: CFP 15
-2nd lowest ranked 1 loss team
-only team with <3 losses and a winning rec vs top 30 not in top 10
-FPI 13
-SP+ 10

That the same Clemson whose FPI, the CFPs favorite metric, has them ranked below 4-4 TCU and 3-5 FSU?
FSU 41
TCU 43
Clemson 45
Ore St 53
Best actual wins
LSU: Aub 37
Tech: Hou 20, AZ 27
Ε¦ still plays 31, 34, 43. Wining those gonna blow the jello off his spoon.

There are 13 teams ranked higher in the CFP rankings than the AP Poll...9 are from the SEC.
There are also 9 teams ranked lower in the CFP rankings than the AP Poll... ZERO are from the SEC.
This isn't a coincidence.
So many Wake fans pushing SOS.
Objectively hilarious.
Everyone knows that metric sux for a multitude of reasons. Feel free to google or search X for details on why.
If you want a legit metric thatβs widely considered one of the best out there letβs try SP+.
Tech: 10
Wake: 17
Once again Brad tries to mislead people with inaccuracies about Big12 teams. Tech has 4 such wins.
Not bothering to fact check the rest but Iβm betting thereβs more that are wrong.
Either stop posting or get the facts right. Prefer the former tbh.
SEC: 5
Big12: 4
B1G: 2
ACC: 1

Donβt ever compare Tech and TAMU you ignorant douche. Aggs have had money and NFL talent for decades and havenβt won shit. Tech got high level NIL for the first time last yr then won the Big12 title and made the CFP top 4. You donβt know shit about Joey or what our future holds.
Replying to @MDNolefan @BudElliott3
Donβt ever use Texas Tech as an example. Tech and TAMU are same schools with ποΈ coach but they have alot of money for talent. Yes theyβll be in playoffs but they wonβt win titles
