bro really said sf needs to be more transactional
people need to status max so much more high status people saying "chasing status is bad" is such an effective way of keeping everyone below them literally the only reason why you care about a person you have not met is because they've done something publicly approved rant:

if I give my vendors enough equity in my company, we can pretend to be profitable so we can exit to dumb retail investors

ai security alarmists are a very special type of person who is bad at both game theory and sports so they don't understand that when stakes are high, things converge to great defense. great offense is typically a short lived anomaly, or a direct result of bad defense

1017 + ""Don't be stingy with tokens, go all out" = 10x faster fable somehow
1017 was found to have an issue where excessive token saving quirks limited its performance. You can directly use prompts like "Don't be stingy with tokens, go all out" to solve it Can't believe prompt engineering is still a thing🤣

Issues created in @linear by people and via MCP are up 400% this year. Another fast growing trend: more customers are building their own internal agents and using Linear as the shared layer for workflows, communication and context between people and agents. As teams move faster, connecting goals, requests, reasoning and the work matters more, even if it sometimes happens after the fact in the review. Here is one customer oriented example we can do in our Linear: - Pick a top-10 customer. Ask the agent for a brief of their top requests and the reasoning we've captured - Write it to a doc in Linear and decide what to build with some people - Have the agent turn the decisions into projects and issues, carrying the customer requests and meeting notes with them - Teams send their agents to work on them - At the QBR, ask agent to generate a report and show the customer what has actually landed or them, how and why Now multiple these kind of workflows 100 or 1000 times where someone is learning something worth fixing, or trying ideas and finding beta customers for it. Or just aligning across the team or cross function. Not posting our revenue chart, but it looks a lot like this one

Now to search for display port to hdmi

anthropic's only sticky business is selling thousands of compute for $200. enterprises will pick something like deepseek 4.1 1017 over opus 5.5 in 95% of cases (until there is a model that can write good emails which we don't seem close to). so $2T is a lot

Heard of a top law firm completely cutting off Harvey and all API calls to Claude/OpenAI after they saw what openAI did with navier strokes Now hosting everything locally with GPUs they own, running Kimi and deepseek Think you’ll see a lot more of this going forward

Which vulnerabilities? Because the PHP one was found with Sol. Which has safeguards. Although I realise that doesn’t fit your narrative and is of course therefore ignored =)

Game changer for humanoid full-body control training. Now it's superfast (and cheap, just one GPU) to train a single policy on *all* the motions. How come: (1) World model much faster than regular sim (2) Backprop through time collects way more signal than policy gradients
We found a way to scale humanoid control that reduces GPU-hours by more than 1000×. Across 129,514 motions, SuperMimic surpasses the state of the art (128 GPUs, 7 days) with 1 GPU in 3 hours. Project: supermimic.github.io Demo: supermimic.github.io/demo/

I remember at [top cs school] watching the ppl grinding the most do the worst and eventually become the least remarkable ppl in industry. solution elegance scales, grindslop turns into garbage. your llm has a context ceiling. don't torture it (and yourself) with a slop mountain

I've been blindly using an unknown model for all my coding, design, and debugging tasks for 2 weeks now. Turns out it's actually GLM-5.3-Flash. I can't tell the difference from Opus 5.5. There's a 26X price difference between the two.

didn't believe this would be possible so soon. but unfortunately for the labs, deepseek 4.1 1017 in cursor harness is 10x faster fable for effectively $0

browser slop factory kills old browser to make room for new browser. even newer browser in development
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026. That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community. Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward. We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how: · Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly. · Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact. · Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security. · The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional. Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

if we really had agi, coding would be zapier-like drag and drop on top of AST, where LLMs fill in the gaps under the hood. you could still have chat but just chat alone would not be the main thing

oai is struggling to ship basic software products...they must be "ANTI-AI"
everyone I see struggling is ANTI-AI. I see zero people pro AI who are struggling. A lot of people struggling are simply because they are anti ai. its like not adopting the computer in the 00s.

don't trust someone building a coding harness with eng advice. it is a rare product that is perfectly aligned with slopology. 1) 95% of bugs are hidden from the user or assumed to be the fault of the llm 2) pushing slopology makes them money
it's possible to read the code and not compromise on quality while using ai and still be able to move fast. it just takes discipline since the coding agent products we have today are built by slopologists

the labs pontificate on eng best practices and yet have shipped increasingly audacious slop for the past year
openai bros i'm begging you just focus on performance for a cycle. takes me 15 seconds to load my workout log in spaces this is completely unusable
