This means less than 22% of Gaza’s daily needs are being met. 🔳Ismail Al-Thawabta, @ismailalthwabta Director General of Gaza’s Government Media Office, stated that the limited easing of restrictions has brought no meaningful improvement to living conditions. The israeli regime continues to control which goods enter Gaza, restricting essential foods including vegetables, fruit, meat and poultry while allowing less essential products through. 🔳Gaza has no strategic reserves of food or flour. Markets remain deprived of basic necessities, while crossing closures have forced bakeries to stop operating. 🔳Five trucks carrying gas entered the Gaza Strip through the Karam Abu Salam crossing. 🔳Gaza requires 600 trucks every day, yet fewer than a quarter of those needed are entering. Five gas trucks do not resolve a humanitarian catastrophe. Restricting essential food and supplies while allowing limited deliveries is not humanitarian relief.
