One would think that the Jesuits would have found time in the last 486 years to peruse the Acts of the Apostles, busy as they have been.
The failure of Congress to reform the judiciary during the first two years of the Second Administration has been the most significant failure of that period. The Republic was not supposed to be run by district judges.
One wonders whether the USCCB could have had more influence on the Administration by not squandering their political capital on stuff like this over the last two years.

Batya’s real problem is Vance’s foreign policy. She’s just too dishonest to say so. That’s why she is going after Vance instead of Trump for doing the same exact thing. Just like she railed against Vance and not Trump when Trump announced a ceasefire with Iran.
When Vivek Ramaswamy put out his disgusting ad, many Republicans denounced it, thankfully proving themselves unwilling to roll around in the mud with him.
But not everyone! VP Vance was more disgusted with his principled colleagues than with using the rape of a child for political gain. President Trump too defended the ad, calling it brave.
He is wrong. It is debased to defend it.
There just has to be a level beneath which we are not willing to sink.
