🗳️ The Democratic Socialists of America is launching a national campaign for an arms embargo on Israel, built on organizing workers, unions and communities to choke off weapons shipments at strategic points rather than waiting for Washington. The campaign's first targets include United Airlines, which DSA says moved nearly 3,000 military shipments to Tel Aviv through US hubs between June 2025 and March 2026, and Elbit Systems of America, the US arm of Israel's largest weapons maker, now rebranded as Twenty-Six Defense. The national launch builds on New York City DSA's "Break the Chain" campaign, which has spent months organizing workers at JFK Airport to refuse to handle military cargo bound for Israel. DSA is set to hold a webinar Thursday to the effort.
